I feel its time for a round of Mornington Crescent. On this occasion we are starting at Chorleywood. For this particular round we will be using the "Assetz Capital rules - variation no. 4". For those who may need reminding what what these are: you have to pass through both Hackney (Central or Wick) AND Epping: but the order is immaterial; And yes I know that's a stretch, but if you don't manage both then the security won't be enough to ensure your safety during your travels. But on NO ACCOUNT must you try and go via Ipswich: for pretty obvious reasons (what ? outside the M25; and ain't it north of Watford ?). Any attempt to do so will lead to instant disqualification. On the plus side, double bonus points and a free hyperspace jump are available to anyone who manages to go via "London Bridge".
As the officiator, as usual my rulings on any move are final, as well as being entirely arbitrary, but I will carefully consider any challenges from other players before making my adjudication.
As an extra twist, I will be using the Bob Crow set of Chance Cards (Special Edition no. 3,655, reprint no. 34). This of course means that your planning will be put in considerable jeopardy, and you may find yourself subject to entirely random closures or entire shutdowns. We could find it even leads to the whole enterprise grinding to a halt for a period of up to 48 hours.
I will assume that in this day and age all who choose to take part are qualified to do so, and as such are always in possession of an Oyster "Community Chest" Card: I will therefore remove the Boris Johnson/TFL special "Sorry the ticket office is closed" card from the Bob Crow Chance Card pack (Special Edition no. 3,655, reprint no. 34) in order to speed up play as the counter card is assumed.
OK, game on. Who wants to start ?
