pepperpot: you are quite right. whilst willing I got a little time constrained: had to sidle off for a band practise. oldnick: of course its London-centric: its under the Assets Capital thread. Ay, but Manchester's capital up north, and responsible for manning 'The Wall'. Happen you'll be glad o' that when t' Others start trying t' cross, ya soft southern... self moderated.

I would not have normally allowed the move from Htw T1 to Northolt: however I was not around to interject, and nobody challenged: you've obviously not been brushing up on the rules. Therefore it stands. However Lidlington Place is most definitely not allowed. That leaves us at Finchley Central. OK, sorry, missed the bit about Hackney. Has to be King's Cross then.

Have we moved on to Manchester Crescent and its expansion pack Salford Crescent?
If so, Palatine Road is the last stop. I'll say Chorlton Street.

Bit of a gamble, but I'm going to call a Botham and say Frederick Road.

By the way bracknellboy, sorry about coming over all Sean Bean on you - it's my mixed race background. Most of the time I'm charm personified. It's when the moon is full, my lip begins to curl uncontrollably and things just slip out :-)

As Monty Python once sang "You can wrap it up in ribbons, you can slip it in your sock, but don't take it out in public as they'll put you in the dock, and you won't a-come a-back"

Bracknellboy, are you moderating this game? Where are we?

Bracknellboy, are you moderating this game? Where are we? Ah, I was waiting for that - under 'Split Capital' rules, when any player declares themselves 'lost' by asking 'where are we?' it is mandatory to declare a 'wind up date'. I formally propose February 17th 2014 at 09:00. Do I have a seconder? I hardly need to add that Manchester and London must now be visited alternately do I.

Oye, what's happened while I've not been looking ? This thread has gone all Wythenshawe on me and been hijacked by a bunch of b******y northerners.
We're at Kings Cross. And don't try and go all sneaky by moving to Piccadilly and then claiming you meant Manchester Piccadilly.
