This is not the current list. It is only for testing so do not compare it with your current one. Well possibly, but as the total is what it was at the time and the loans I can see are the same as they were I kinda assumed the rest were lurking there somewhere too. However, if they are not then that's ok, and it's not some functionality I can't find!

Yes that is confirmed. Reauthorised simply means it will send you an SMS with a code that you will have to enter during the login process. It will also use this verification if you attempt to login from an unknown device. I haven't yet looked at the beta site (will do so!) - but you should be aware when some banks changed their internet banking systems to require the use of mobiles/SMS for certain actions - they quickly found that a number of their customers didn't have mobiles and/or (shock) mobile coverage... Regards Sunil Unless it allows for non- UK mobile numbers, that will apply to me for significant portions of the year. Coverage is also a frequent problem when I'm not in the UK sometimes too, and I know several people in various parts of the UK even in London where coverage in their homes is very problematic. Hope there is an alternative?

I seriously hope SS aren't paying anyone to develop this excuse for a new website, if so they're being ripped off. Seems to me change for the sake of change - or perhaps its somebody in the office with nothing better to do

I'm... confused. Other than photos (which I think add little, if anything), what's the new site provide me that the old site didn't?

Well using the first link rather than the second, I can now see a loan part I put up for sale again, still can't work out why it hasn't sold in nanoseconds though  . Can also see pepperpot 's viq, and the answer, have asked a q myself (apparently successfully). However, still can't see my entire loan list (think @meldor reported the same) can anyone else? Am also wondering how I will download my entire loan book as I currently do via copy and paste into Excel - anyone any ideas. Still on ipad with unevenly stretched loan images and row widths caused by the length of the loan description as someone else observed. Haven't found any sortable columns either, which are they? Will give it a go on a laptop probably tomorrow morn when you're all asleep - maybe it'll be faster  . This is not the current list. It is only for testing so do not compare it with your current one. I'm... confused. Other than photos (which I think add little, if anything), what's the new site provide me that the old site didn't? All individual parts of one loan added together.

There does not seem to be a time out on the beta at present. I assume this will be added when it goes live. A variable interval would be nice, but if fixed no need to have it too short.

Many thanks for most of the feedback so far.
It seems that people are missing the ability to view loans in the List view and the ability to 'View all' (which will be modified to be remembered for future logins).
Also there is no longer the requirement to continually look for the highlighted green bar identifying a loan showing availability. On the new site any loan with availability in it can be found under Loans -> 'Available Loans'. This page is dynamic, in that if a loan becomes available for investment it will appear on this page.
The new site is designed to be highly responsive, meaning that you should be able to view and use the site on a large monitor, all the way down to a mobile screen. This is the reason for some increased white space and padding that some people dislike.
Withdraw functionality is not available if you have a negative balance.
Auto-deposits have been removed from the sites functionality, you can make any size investment you wish, this will result in a negative balance that you are expected to either transfer funds to resolve, or sell loan parts to resolve.
2-stage verification security via SMS is only be able to be activated by investors with a mobile.
We will adjust loan ID titles back to PBL*** rather than PBL**.
Notification emails are sent when you a) buy a loanpart, b) put a loanpart up for sale & c) when a loan part 100% sells.
We will be going through everyone's comments and feedback emails with our developers over the next week.

Although i liked the simplistic current website, I can understand that SS has to move with time. And good to see all loan parts belonging to a specific loan aggregated under one loan. savingstream Under My Loans > Live Loan Parts, can we get Remaining (i.e. Time to maturity) to be in days when it is less than 1 month? (maybe i didn't look hard enough but i couldn't find precise maturity date of any loan anywhere, smallest resolution is 1 month even when there is 1 day left) Under My Loans > Live Loan Parts, perhaps better to indicate Interest earned + accrued rather than the Rate (given that all loans carry same rate) Under Loans > Pipeline Loans, can we type Pre-Funding amount, rather than having to select through a drop down using preselected options. I'd prefer list view to be the default, or at least default that I can select and save. |
