Shocking! I actually shifted a fair bit overnight. Now all I need is a nice bit of juicy CB today to chuck it at .... Empty loan board, Christmas week and you're hoping for cashback, well I suppose that there's nothing wrong with being optimistic.

Dear Father Christmas,
Many of those on this board are probably on your naughty list but I think I have been quite nice this year. So would you please bring me a little property development loan with 2% cash back please and a term of six months. Either an A+ at 8% or an A at 10% will be fine, as long as the LTV is under 70% and it's not in South Wales.
Love Blender XXX

Love Blender XXX Dear Santa I've been even better behaved than blender and I'd be quite happy with South Wales or even a 75% LTV. xx

And now there's one again! Not that it's worth buying. The boss must have hidden the Ping-Pong balls until someone stuck a loan up there.

Historically, Christmas, New Year and Easter were a time of Feasting Copiously with F***all Cashback at Fawlty Castle.

Well Santa has given us 1% on Southfields 2 - probably not necessary, but if they want it through by Thursday should do the job?

True, but since Savings Stream un-bunged the Trickle you can now get 12% with little or no effort .. in fact you can start earning the 12% 48 hours before the money needs to arrive there. 8>.

Very true. My personal SS limit is pretty close to being reached though, so finding alternatives. As I have cash already on FC from SM sales, it might as do something on platform and continue to increase my diversification.

Some reasonable sized loans are appearing on Funding Secure which I started paying more attention to in the drive to diversify, although deploying more than £500 a week is challenging.

In addition to SS and FS, MoneyThing have had a series of good sized loans paying 12% instantly in the last few weeks and their new (excellent!) secondary market is providing opportunities for new arrivals to diversify into other loans. There was plenty of SM activity yesterday in advance of the latest new loan that still has £17k available this morning (which will disappear as soon as the initial 24-hour bid limit is lifted this afternoon) and there's a £275k 3 month bridging loan coming at 4pm at a slightly experimental 10% (reflecting the relatively low risk).

Fully agree with all the above! My own holdings in MT and SS have grown quite rapidly in the last couple of months. It would be pretty easy to end up with too much in too few platforms. A fair bit of those funds have come from Flipping Circus but I'm still trying to turn over a smallish balance in the interests of maintaining platform diversity - stripped and flipped property and a bit of pass the hot potato E juggling. Most of my last SME's were listed a few days ago; at what I thought were fairly optimistic prices but I've had some bites already (more overnight ). 8+1% will do during quiet season to keep things moving. Haven't had more than a cursory look at FS but am considering expanding to another platform or 2 come the New Year. I'm still very much a newbie, but I'm now quite comfortable with managing my current stuff and can cope with expanding a bit. Will have to do some reading on previously ignored sections of the forum if I get a bit of time over the Hols!
