Well Santa has given us 1% on Southfields 2 - probably not necessary, but if they want it through by Thursday should do the job? I see that Southfields 3 has been put up with no CB, either an oversight or FC are 'flying a kite'. Well it's certainly windy enough for kite flying but surely not an oversight - more likely a technical hitch.

I expect they've calculated that Autobodge will take it, and they probably don't need it for a few days. Probably indicates there's not much more to come before Father Christmas comes down the chimney.

I think the only thing our friends at FC towers are focused on at the moment is the big £1,000,000,000 and with under £1.4mln to go and nearly £3mln on the PM and whole loans as well they are clearly in sight. So I think the flow of new loans really will start to tail off now. Only good thing I bet they are giving bonus to borrowers for early acceptance and therefore the PM loans once filled should drawdown quickly.

Just £723,360 required at 15:45 so it should be there by end of play today. John

Amount lent £999,999,520 at close. Of course a bit of that is new loans for old, but let's not be mean-spirited. Well done for tomorrow, Fairly Close.

It looks as if Somerset will last out until Sunday. Autobodge is clearly having some digestion problems with too much Turkey! I think I know the feeling. The other four mince pies will presumably be devoured when they hit 4 days 23:59

I think they must have overindulged the hamster at the Fatally Constipated Christmas party as well. I'm not seeing the expected holiday performance improvement, quite the reverse.

For the first time since Christmas there appears to be a chance that there will be loans available throughout Monday morning. I am interested to see how the current bunch might get devoured by the 'monday surge' - a phenomenon we have not seen for a while. Probably caused by manual investors getting to their desks on Monday morning reviewing their portfolio and investing direct to get rid of Saturday and Sundays returned money. Depending on how that looks we might just see the first signs of spring - a tender shoot of cashback poking its head out in West Byfleet late on Tuesday morning perhaps!

I will be tempted by cash back, but I already own lots of this borrower's debt. If others tempted by cashback are like me it won't fill in minutes.

41 unfilled loans on the the PM at the moment. I cant remember this many since the good old days of variable rates! Is Farting Constantly getting a bit constipated right now?

Also a quick scan of the number sequences recently shows a significant number of loans this week are whole loan rejects. I noticed about 10 in one day, think it was Wednesday IIRC, so maybe the Institutional investors are getting a bit choosy of late.
