How can the Aston Martin be listed at a 1.20% premium??? Can someone confirm that I'm not seeing things? I thought the increments were 1.0%, 1.25%, 1.5% ? Am I seeing things?

My sense is that the launch of the FS IFISA has already had a fair impact on SM availability and "best effective rate" prices. However it's hard to know for certain without tracking over time. For interest, as of 12.30pm today, there are £490k of parts available on the SM in loans with a "best effective rate" of at least 13% (although inevitably a good proportion will be at lower rates than that). Breaking that down: 13%+ £490k 14%+ £370k 15%+ £275k 16%+ £170k 17%+ £110k 18%+ £62k 19%+ £49k 20%+ £0 The trend towards lower Effective Rates continues. Updated snapshot as at 08.30 on 27th April: 13%+ £515k 14%+ £319k 15%+ £179k 16%+ £104k 17%+ £32k 18%+ £26k 19%+ £12k 20%+ £0 Makes the non-IFISA even more attractive for higher/additional rate taxpayers if they can sell for lesser discounts. Everyone appears to be winning (well, all taxpayers that is - non-taxpayers are getting lower returns now).

Yes, I'm a non tax payer & I expected to get royally shafted by the nation's highest earners and that's exactly what I'm getting

There appears to be a mini sell-off on FS of long-dated loans at 1% discount. Discounts above 0.9% haven't lasted long since the introduction of the IF-ISA.

Very odd market activity compared to normal today. Could be time to offload sufxxlk lanx at a smaller discount et al.

From newsletter:
With the growth in the platform (including IFISA accounts) and the very rapid increase in the secondary market, we will be implementing a small change to ensure the main purpose of the market remains the same. Both premium and discount rates will, therefore, be limited to a maximum of 1%. This change will be implemented next week. As more than 96% of all trades to date have fallen within this range it will not have any effect on the bulk of the transactions but will eliminate the very small percentage of potentially inappropriate trading.

Best available discounts now down to -0.3% / -0.4% as the SM continues to drain 13%+ £316k 14%+ £88k 15%+ £12k 16%+ £0 Next to nothing left at any sort of discount now! 13%+ £56k 14%+ £8k 15%+ £0k Are you going into the loan to check the exact amount available? The only 14%+ is the boat with £8k available, but only £600 available at a discount. The bulk, £5k is available at a 0.3% premium, effective rate 11.16%.
