the dishonesty of While we are in this geographic location, my last notification from FC said that everyone's favorite scrappy is due to restart payments at the end of February. Will I be hearing the ching, ching, ching of money dropping into my account next week, or will there be another excuse? Maybe you and I will only hear the sound of ching, ching, ching if the scrappy first finds some more nicked brass band instruments to crush! There is another excuse. He has dumped it on his "business advisor" and wants an informal arrangement to pay all creditors back "in time". It's about time FC flattened this bloke's business for good and for all (but mind those euphoniums). I've only got a £20 piece of this, but the whole loan is £100K, some people will have a lot of loan parts, and this company seems determined not to repay his loan, and so does the director boyo who gave the personal guarantee. Now 155 days late, made only one payment but doesn't count as defaulted. Is FC protecting its default figures? Does anyone living near Gorseinon able to confirm whether this scrapyard is still trading? (What kind of coc oen gets caught doing dodgy deals by his own CC TV, presumably set up to stop the dishonesty of people nicking from him?)

If ever there was a case for FC seeking a CCJ followed by the bailiffs this has got to be the one. Everything about this loan stinks. How the hell FC ever allowed it to go ahead with a bloke with a recent criminal record, God only knows! When I mentioned this to a lawyer a few weeks back he felt that if FC did nothing to recover our money then we the lenders would have a case against FC for negligence. Failing that there could even be a criminal case against FC under the Theft Act concerning obtaining money by false pretences.
As to "still trading" you could always give them a tinkle and see if they are still in the market for a load of <removed>., the number is : EDIT Mod : telephone number removed: .******

I do have a battered old <removed> in the attic .... edit: OK it's disappeared (moderated out) but it could do this in 7th position; the first one sounds very rude too (probably appropriate)!

merlin: you will perhaps not be surprised to know that I've edited your post to remove the telephone number you posted. Its no different from posting the name of the borrower. Though I suspect you knew that...

I await the day the phrase "Hello I'm Mr Griggs, I'm a High Court Sherriff ...." appears on a certain BBC TV programme in relation to some of these chancers.
Long wait then?

No 1 sounds quite flatulent even if you don't get it right! (So I am told) (For readers confused as to the meaning of this exchange, it is a clue relating to the identity of the metal item removed by Mr Elljay from the third posting on this page.) Thinks... waits for string of 69 jokes....

What IS it with Welsh firms?!? Will I be hearing the ching, ching, ching of money dropping into my account next week 24th February - We have been chasing the borrower and the guarantor for payment, and have been referred to their third party business adviser who is currently reviewing the financial position of both. We understand that an informal arrangement will be proposed whereby all creditors are paid in full, over time.Ching, bloody ching

There are now at least 3 loans on FC where, IMO, lenders have a case against FC for failing in their DD and a duty of care namely: The Crappy Scrappy which I don’t personally hold but I certainly hold The Crooked Lawyer and Stale Fart aka Br***h *f F***h A*r.
Anyone seriously up for a fight with FC?

Holders of the crappy scrappy need to think carefully when asked to novate their claims to FCRL. If a number did not agree then FC would take notice.
