I suspect the reason more people are struggling is more to do with (i) more borrowers... kermie : Did you really mean "borrowers"? Or did you mean "investors/lenders"? Doh, yes - lenders.

I only saw the yachts loan. The other two didn't appear for me at all despite refreshing evry few seconds until 11:05 To me after first refresh around 11:00:05 AM the first appeared 6 yachts. Opened that in new tab and refreshed screen again. Went to bid for yacht in meantime, got my 100 there. Closed yacht tab, went to previous screen. 2 small loans were at 97, 98% (but that was a state from 5-10 seconds ago). When I went to bid for those loans they were all green/gone. Going with bold assumption (no visibility of bid date/time) that all bids in current investments column above first bid greater than the limit are from today, we can guesstimate: - 5444831050 - 5 piece Jewellery collection - we had 8 lenders today
- 2409144200 - Paintings - there were 9 bids today
It would be nice if FS also put a timestamp for each investment in that column. I guess its already in database so it,s just a matter of small code and template fix.

I managed to get £25 into one of the smaller loans -- the other one seemed to go straight onto the LAA list.

kermie; Wouldn't you just know it. Got my bit on both of the 2p.m. loans. Obviously giving my laptop a good kicking seems to have worked

Obviously giving my laptop a good kicking seems to have worked Bearing in mind the earlier conversation, I went for the smaller of the two loans first on my laptop: glad I did coz that got snapped up real quick! Although at £25 a pop, I do have to wonder if this is a useful way to spend my time...

I still say the other two never appeared for me. Not only did I not see them on the page, while I was clicking to refresh it "my account" page never showed that more than one loan was available, always just "one", the yachts.

All 3 showed for me and I nabbed 2 of them, extreme speed was necessary to even get a sniff at the smaller ones!

Is there anything up with the ring and necklace loan ?
I'm in the middle of transferring my £25, but it seems suspiciously slow to shift and am surprised its still available !

I thought exactly the same although it seems to be pretty much gone now, but then again at £25 a head maximum will take 220 people to fully invest in the loan, so maybe not

If not, did you submit a deposit via the website to tell FS it was coming? FS generally are very good at crediting deposits promptly, even out of normal office hours, and especially if there are loans needing funding. I think ben has the answer. Any loan that requires 220 different lenders to fill is going to take a while to be fully funded. Its now 7+ hours after launch, and there's still place for seven more investors. While setting the maximum lending limit that low may be a disappointment to some, it does mean we don't have to play the 'fastest finger' game and that has to be a positive development for many lenders. And probably for FS's long-term future as well. A similar situation has occurred with the yacht loan. There was something like £30k of that loan available at today's launch (because of non-renewals) and the £100 maximum bid means FS would need to find at least 300 more lenders in order to fund that loan within 24 hours. And that's in addition to the 170 or so lenders who rolled over their previous investment in this loan. A quick look at the web page now shows about 200 new bids today. I haven't a clue how many active lenders FS have. (They published such info in the past, but I don't see it on the website now.) It would appear from today's loans that they don't have too many more than 400, but that's just a guess since there's no way to know how many lenders looked at these two loans and decided not to invest, or who didn't even bother to look, or who didn't have the necessary spare cash. With about £13k of the yacht loan still available right now, I think we can expect to see a fastest finger scrum tomorrow when the bidding restriction is lifted.

Not credited yet !
Which meant I missed out on the ring.
Still it should be in there by tommorow (Live chat wasn't available, I'll tell em tommorow) and so I'll keep it in there.

I thought the restriction was due to be lifted at 11 am this morning ... yet at 10:58 when I logged in it was already full with bids over £100 having been made. What time was the restriction lifted ?

Likewise. I logged in at 10.55am and it was all gone. Not pleased. Having said that, I think the message attached to the loan was that any remaining amount would be made available in approximately 24 hours. That needs tightened up I think.
