Purely as an experiment, I have offered a part, just to see if anyone is daft enough to buy. No luck so far. Hmmm. Just for fun, I just put some 19560 up at +0.4%, and they flew out. One buyer bought five. I've made enough to treat blender to some crickets. So I've put some up at various increased premiums to better quantify the daftness. I see there's no cashback on tranche 5. I'm patient.

Thanks for the thought. There is no cash back on tranche 5 yet. But there may be in a few days time. What we know is that it has to be refinanced and it has to go through the partial board.

I'm sure Bristol 1 will go through fine without assistance after the 2-day restriction ends unless they're in a hurry. Tewkesbury has another £618k to find after tranche 5 it seems. It's never completely clear when the funds are needed though, and as old tranches are repaid it frees up cash.

Tewkesbury 5 has done well overnight now at 57%. Impressive and disappointing both at the same time.

14970 Suffolk 10% reoaid today. Not to be reinvested until we see how they handle Byfleet and a few others!

Nope, they're gonna salami-slice it, .. sell the most they can to autobiddies (or idiots) with no CB, and then (if necessary) offer some CB on the very last slice (or chew it up as a WL for the investment trust .. if they relist it enough times eventually the random allocation has to send it to the IT, right?!).

And an abuse of the fund's own requirement for a proper random allocation.

They have the technology (one would assume!).

They have the technology (one would assume!). Every loan has to go through the random allocator and it will be more than one. But resisting to stack the odds on a particular loan would be an abuse and would impair the Fund's own allocation.

Yeah but if you have a dice and need a six. It is hardly random if you keep throwing it until you get one!
