My dashboard shows next instalment date 04/01/16. Does that indicate a loan repayment is overdue?

Ok, so it does. The Ablate assets ltd loan is overdue.

Probably means ablrate has forgotten to push the button again...... ablrateandy , do you want to remind him for us? It's a handle to turn, the button is expected in the next upgrade. My next instalment is tomorrow and the expected amount is zero. I will be up very early tomorrow to see if it has arrived, and am not expecting to be disappointed. Further excitement has now been generated by the prospect of these two mysterious new loans, and I really hope that one of them will have a cherry on the top.

Sorry yes. Our website treats zero as a value, so if you sell out of something it still thinks you are invested!
It's one of a dozen things that are sorted and awaiting deployment.

That'll be the pile of something valuable that's been audited by one of the big four?

1. Our website treats zero as a value, 2. so if you sell out of something it still thinks you are invested! On point one, as somebody who has spent his working life with Physics and Mathematics I highly approve of this approach.
Point two however is perhaps not so bright

Agreed that zero is an important value separating profit and loss. I have now passed two next instalment dates of zero in January and expect the third on 13th. However, I cannot check that these have been received because although the account balance is as expected, there are no entries in my account history for these instalments. Inconsistent at least.

That's a very good point blender. I have no idea why that inconsistency is there and hadn't thought of it. Anyway, will be resolved shortly!

The 'next instalment' is a good feature and will be even better once these ghostly payments are eliminated.

...... so many people have difficulty in grasping the concept of zero being a 'value' but to engineers zero is a very important value ...... and when you head into my field (nuclear engineering) and start examining zero point energy and similar you really can't do without a good zero!
Agree that the 'next instalment amount' is good/useful, I regularly use it as a check against my spread sheets.

Agreed re zero being a value. What frustrates me is the inability to program in the ability to recognise it as such and skip it

Agreed re zero being a value. What frustrates me is the inability to program in the ability to recognise it as such and skip it I thought it was as simple as if = 0 then . . . (might be done after truncation or rounding as necessary) but please note that I am not a programmer. Re skipping: have you tried to use a rope?

I thought it was as simple as if = 0 then . . . (might be done after truncation or rounding as necessary) I'm in the same (apparently over-simplistic!) camp.
