Good luck me and my partner stopped using tabex would never stopped other wise  6 years ago now I think it cost me £20 for box for the full course online. I think they are from Bulgaria. They are not nicotine so i no longer use anything after i stopped the course. Worked for me and our lass but may not work for others. You do need to take them as instructed or there's no point as you will reach straight for the fags. hi gaz2536 what are tabex?... sorry you linked and i now read Durrr ..... obviously it worked, i was on zyban for 3 months, never stopped me smokin but i had the most incredible dreams, i mean proper weird dreams, it was a toss up between stop smokin or keep the tabs and the dreams... smokin won.. unfortunately.

Giving up smoking is soooooo simple. but the method is no longer available. I was called to Ipswich hospital to listen to Uncle Len bubbling his way to dying of Lung cancer. He gave me his front door key to find his will. The whole interior of the house was brown, smelly and sticky. The next day he died. Just after I gave up smoking.

I smoked for about 40 years .. cigarettes, then cigars, then a pipe .. then about 12 years ago I decided I ought to quit so I did (bit of hypnotism, bit of gritted teeth). Nicotine isn't actually that addictive, it's the habit that's hard to kick ('what do I do with my hands' .. no, don't even go there). Gum, e-cigs etc. just make it harder IMO, they keep stoking the addiction bit, although they are arguably somewhat safer (but nicotine remains a grade-A nerve poison .. try it on greenfly!).

Am I the only one concerned that the recent initiation of this thread might be a predictor that this forum may at risk of going in up in smoke ?
I think the admin team need to consider whether the thread should be filtered to ensure that not all members are tarred with the same brush; and I'd hate to see other board members coughing up for potentially quack rememdies even if they do have a secondary use as a rather unpleasant tasting beverage. Or is this just a reflection of a subset of our members who for tax reasons lean towards rolled-up interest ?
