There is an email which has been sent out to lenders on this loan (i.e. I have just received). I would remind all lenders in case they failed to spot it (which would be hard) of the explicit confidentiality statement referred to at the start of the email. In other words in case it wasn't obvious, do not post it into the forum, either here or on the pink pages.

Informative email from Assetz. Thank you. I am quite relaxed about the situation; I always considered the security for this loan to be first rate.

Yes extremely informative about the events of last week. You will note from the Q&A on this loan I have said that my personal view is we should have told lenders last week. I have said my piece to the team regarding this and I have apologised to you all as well for a lack of communication. A

...........seems that we're nine months short of the reserve promised. That was a condition (within six months of the loan starting) contained within the revised credit report dated 20/11/2013. My bold Perhaps it was the cider consumed last night which has finally addled what grey matter remains, but I'm having trouble locating the conditions mentioned above. I'd swear I saw them yesterday, but, having revisited the revised credit report, I see no mention of any conditions at all! EDIT: Probably was the cider. Just found it.

More information is usually useful and that email certainly helps. Thank you for that.

A This loan has served many, myself included, well in terms of parking spare cash (that was also the idea with plumber man too but, let's not go there!) & has effectively always paid on time barring odd slight relapse. After reading AH's email, confidence is surely higher regarding security & likelihood of no default. The guy has come out & apologised about lack of notice & the more important lesson for AH & AC is that it is not repeated again.
