That's 5 late payments out of 10 now! What is AC doing about this tardiness? I guess this is one way of reducing int rate - by my rough estimate £3K+ int saved so far!

I'm missing payments for 39, 45, 68, 77 and 95. That's three due today plus the two we have been discussing

I've got them as good to reasonable payers. Two misses including this. (not counting hols/weekends etc I'm also ignoring the New Year one maybe they're not as good as I was thinking...) If it's not an AC system prob is their planned full loan repayment causing this, have I missed something? IN EDIT

I've put some updates up regarding this loan this morning all.
Repayment has now been made from the interest buffer we have been building up whilst the borrower changes bank account details for the payment following the recent clients money update we've been through.

Thanks for the update, Can I ask if this loan is trade-able on the AM, and I guess others are too, when they haven't made a payment but the buffer has paid if for them?

Given the buffer is surplus income they built up here rather than funds retained on drawdown.

Given the buffer is surplus income they built up here rather than funds retained on drawdown. davidricketts1 may wish to rephrase the above, as it implies that loans where the interest is being paid from funds retained on drawdown aren't -- or shouldn't be -- trade-able on the Aftermarket. And that's clearly at odds with the most common AC practice for bridging loans.

You're quite correct that this isn't the case and there is no issue with trading any loans on the aftermarket providing these are up to date.

There is over £130K of this on sale, yet it seem to be a distressed loan. Ok there was a failure to complete a early refinancing but it has 20 months to run and has hard asset security rather than debenture or personal guarantee. Am I missing something ?
Edit - first sentence should have read "There is over £130K of this on sale, yet it doesn't seem to be a distressed loan."

Its not a distressed loan as far as Im aware. Payments up to date & on time, covenant test recently passed. Why do you think its distressed?

I have traded this loan countless times since its inception & never had an issue. As memory serves, there was only one slightly late payment & that was sorted quickly. My guess is it's an U/W trying to free funds to invest elsewhere possibly. If I had any spare cash I would not have an issue investing there...IMHO, etc
