(This was going to be my 1000th post, but I got distracted by chocolate...)
Have you ever wondered which platforms can be bought from now, or when are the best times to try to get loan parts? If so, please see the below. This is effectively a tracker for the platforms indicated. This is not a static image though, this should be updated automatically just past the quarter hour.
All data is from the public websites so I assume that there are no issues with this, but if there are any concerns, please PM me or post below.
Key notes:
MoneyThing (MoneyThing )
This data is taken from the available funding stat and the total on platform stat on this page: www.moneything.com/p2p/
This figure is not entirely all available immediately though, as this figure does not take into account any '24 hour' buy limits.
Percentage
This is at the request of spiral . It should show how much for each platform is currently on the secondary market. Please note the caveats per market above.
For mikes1531 the correct URL for the graph is: jonah.x10host.com/smcomplete.png
Please note this is a single snapshot for each time period, which is taken once an hour, just after the hour. If you are looking at a fast moving secondary market, it is possible that this snapshot could be unrepresentative of the time just before or just afterwards. It is however the value provided by the site at the time my script downloaded it.
I'm more than happy to look to add additional platforms. I have 1 others on my 'to do' list, I've been slower than planned due to a few other challenges recently.
A combination of Selenium, RRDtool, imagemagick, x10host and hostinger have been used to create this.
Personally I had fun pulling this together and learnt a bit of python and bash scripting. So I see myself ahead irrespective, but I also hope that this is of interest or use to other people. I have another, slightly different tracker which I suspect may be of more use, but I need to work out a few bugs with it and with a recent change in the status of one of the markets above, thought that this was timely. Enjoy.
