And, of course, if you want to leave the EU, do the same.
Are we really going to use these forums for political flag waving? Thank goodness it will soon be over.

Your post, which I repeat in flat text in case the original goes awol read:-
IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN THE EU DON'T FORGET TO VOTE NEXT FRIDAY 24TH JUNE
Without any qualifiers at all suggesting humour, nuance, or... well, anything, it's:-
a) deliberately wrong a/b) impolite and not constructive b/c) encouraging people to vote on the wrong date, particularly if deliberately partisan, is simply not on. d*) not funny e*) I suspect it was home produced, certainly a google didn't find similar, so at least do us the courtesy of using a link rather than uploading the file........
You're on thin ice earthbound. You've been told, twice, a "three strikes and you're out" policy is employed here. See, it's really, really, easy. All you need to do is preface a post like that with something like "I thought of this, and thought it was funny....". That way no harm is done, no rules are broken, and we can all just get on.
* Personal annoyance rather than a rules transgression.

Here is my estimate of the changing probability of Brexit. Obviously if I go back less than 7 days then there is less polling data, so the graph is most uncertain where it is most up to date ^^; My model might not be right !

registerme After reading some of the rubbish written on this thread , the above post is aimed at anyone who wish's to take it in the humorous manner it was posted. While i agree with you that the mandatory 'wink' would have helped the less humorous. Now.. if you wish to ban me for posting the 'joke' then feel free, after all ,it seems to some, humor is no laughing matter. edit.. i have placed an edit in the above post... and for anyone who might have forgotton, the EU referendum is on THURSDAY 23RD JUNE.

Strange how nobody was saying that the last time somebody was murdered in the street by mentally-ill people shouting political slogans. Lee Rigby. Strange how religious slogans become political ones. Thank you for proving my point so eloquently.

Did anyone consider what will happen to the English language in case of a Brexit? Will it be recalled from other countries? Will other countries be banned from having English as their national language?

Me too, I'm fed up of all of the scaremongering on both sides. Looking back on the Scottish referendum, the debate never seems to have gone away, the outers won't rest until they win. Surely the same will happen with this debate. If Remain wins; UKIP will get stronger, high level Tories will blame the PM/civil service/unfare advantage etc etc. If Leave wins; The MP's won't accept the result, we may get another concession from the EU, needing another referendum. The fallout from this referendum will rumble on forever. Another financial crisis, recession, downturn, problems in Europe etc etc will be an excuse for some for politician gain, with the voices saying ".....you see, we should have Remained/Left"

Is this a serious comment? Very serious. I expect countries will continue to use the American language uneffected by Brexit.
