Just waiting for reports of a national Tippex shortage!  Not necessary, all they have to do is stick a "X" in the other box Don't they have to "record" how many slips are "spoilt", if there is a high volume it would cause an outcry

My prediction is still leave will win mainly by default because of all the pre vote hype......reasons
1. I watched the last BBC debate, the leave followers appeared to have more passion and determination IMO
2. The opinion polls and the betting odds favoured the remain camp and more lazy remainers may have thought not to bother voting due to over confidence. Yet nobody could have made any sensible prediction
3. The bad weather in the South East may have had the same effect as 2

My guess (not my opinion of whether I would like to see UK in or out...)
55% Remain
45% Leave
I think the "don't knows" are the key. The polls have shown it to be close throughout the campaign, but the "don't know's" are more likely to vote status quo.

Regardless of who wins, I hope we'll see no crowing from the winning side, or bitterness from the losing side. It's been divisive enough as it is, so let's at least try and keep this place of ours polite and constructive.
Personally speaking (ie mod hat now off), whichever way it goes, I think the ramifications will be profound. It will be time to heal the damage here in the UK, and in the wider Europe, and figure out how to best make the world work for all of us.
