There is the possibility of a Brexit Government with some Labour leave members brought into to also negotiate the UK's exit. There has never been a time when both political parties are so split and some politicians so out of touch. Some kind of a "national unity" grand coalition? It's probably the least-worst idea, but I can't really see it getting much actually done except for sniping and in-fighting. I was reading on Twitter one Labour MP chastising another Labour MP and praising Boris Johnson, while watching one Tory MP make personal attacks on Boris Johnson, with David Cameron praising her. Politics has changed - at least in the short tem. If the UK votes to leave a large number of MP's needs to accept the will of the people or resign.

One slight problem. The turkeys would have to vote for Christmas as General Election cant be just called anymore. Not sure they are that altruistic.

General Elections could only ever be called by the PM. The Fixed Term Parliament act really just says "fixed five years" - there's still the possibility for a house No Confidence vote in the government (rather than the PM) to bring an election early.

Or 434 MPs vote for one - with both parties in a mess, seems unlikely - Leave have indicated they would expect Dave to stay, expect George would be sacrifice as hes running campaign.

Some very interesting times ahead by the looks of it. Who'd want to be an MP at the mo', getting home every night to pull all the knives out of your back.

Leave have indicated they would expect Dave to stay A cynic would suggest that's primarily so they have a scapegoat for when the promised utopia doesn't happen... So who would replace Osborne as chancellor? Gove? That's going to be popular. Current Financial Secretary - Gauke, my old MP (don't start me on him...) - is Remain.

No wonder the markets are volatile when a pm and chancellor keep claiming their economy will be a disaster. Totally irresponsible behavior which will probably finish them personally whatever the outcome. It is worth a Brexit just to see Smarmy Dave's face the day after the decision. Exactly and also to stick one finger up at the elites (They're not worth two)

Of course there is no role for the current PM if Brexit, he would have to jump before being pushed, but a good number of the top Tory losers will set aside their differences (till next time) and generously offer their services to the next PM for the good of the country and party unity.

Polls swinging towards Leave. 50/50 chance now, hold on to you hats, one eventful week ahead.

I'm not sure if I'm amused by this thought (because it should be absurd), or horrified by it, but what chance of England being thrown out of the Euros for fan hooligan behaviour before the referendum? I suspect zero, because they will fear a negative impact on the referendum ie increasing the chances of Brexit.
The timing (not to mention some of the behaviour) is.... unfortunate.
