Hi there SS. Do I assume loan parts on the Secondary Market appear in the " Loans" section rather than a separate ,distinct area on your website ? Many Thanks

Yes. The loan will show as having a percentage of it available, rather than 0.00.

Hi webbski9, that is correct, when a loan part is placed up for sale it is added to the availability for that loan and treated with priority over any unfunded availability remaining.

Thanks for your quick response. Any more Property Loans in the offing ?

Loan parts for sale are now instantly credited to the sellers account upon the 100% sale of that loan part and are immediately available for withdrawal regardless of if the buyer has purchased using GoCardless. The only instance of a seller not receiving funds immediately would be if the seller themselves were trying to withdraw uncleared GoCardless funds. Not quite the only instance... I sold a loan part on 2/6 and it still hasn't been credited to my account. Is this a manual process? Edit: An hour later, and with no other communication, my a/c is now credited...Thankyou!

@ savingstream - concerning the more recent bridging loans or in fact any loan that has monthly interest payments, when is the balance of interest paid after the debt obligation is sold on the Secondary Market; the following monthly repayment date, or at term? Thanks. Hi MONEY, I can confirm the balance of the interest would be paid on the next monthly repayment date after you had sold the loan part.

I sold some of PBL 002 in May, and to give you a lender confirmation of what SS have just stated, I got the interest due paid to me at the end of May.

SS now highlight loan parts available in the aftermarket. A simple addition. I like it.

Well, just to be picky and precise, they highlight loans where there is some funding available, whether it is secondary loan parts or original funding. On my screen the difference in colour is negligible unfortunately, unless I lean a long way back, but I can just about see it. Agreed, it is a good addition.

I noticed it a few days ago, and thought it a significant improvement to save going boss eyed looking at all those zeros. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have resulted in any boat parts materialising though!

The highlighting is now darker. Looks like RRs post above has been influential. Well done SS for taking note.

I noticed it too - I was going to post about it yesterday, and then I thought maybe I'd knocked my screen, or slouched more than usual or something, so I thought better of it. Glad I'm not going mad

Just put a couple of loans up for sale. one was £103.91. £100 has sold with £3.91 left over, but this £100 did not get added to my account. It seems like nothing is added until the hole loan is sold, and I'm not even sure if anyone is allowed to buy the rest because of the small size remaining.

I can confirm it is possible to buy a part of £3.91!
