Only if you're interested in the name of the judge. nah. Mostly interested in anything indicating how the platform handles things. It's just indicative of how slow the wheels of the legal system grind.

Agreed but in the legal system it is (IMHO) quite a major step since you know the parcel has stopped being passed around. Decisions can now be made on any pending matters and scheduling can also take place as necessary. Yes the system is slow but that is out of ablrates hands and as lenders we have to accept that. I for one am content with the updates that have been sent out, possibly because I have in the past been involved in setting up several cases at the High Court - not an easy task for anybody let alone a lay person. Personally I am content that the correct actions were taken early on by ablrate and now we just have to let the wheels grind on.

Just re-reading my previous post just in case anybody reads it wrongly I am not suggesting that ablrate have taken my amateur approach, far from it. In fact they have taken some of the most firm action I have seen taken by any platform when a loan has gone bad. I am simply illustrating that I have been involved in a fair number of Court actions over the years (I like challenging authority ) up to the highest courts in this country and on into the ECJ and ECHR.

Is that a very expensive process? No if you do it yourself it costs (financially) next to nothing. Time and stress wise it is another matter!

Is that a very expensive process? I'm not sure about British ducks claiming human rights - next it will be turkeys. My other worry is that Ablrate must be racking up legal costs.

My worry is that Ablrate must be racking up legal costs. There is some 'in house' expertise, have a look at ablrateandy's 'education'.

My interest is in seeing a platform ready to take action when it is needed. There are multiple examples of platforms who keep on stretching things out like soft toffee. Legal costs - - part of the game - I expect to be some but hopefully they will be covered by the security

An update was sent today at about 5PM, largely concerned with things working through the court system in a manner similar to the previous update, though a bit more detail so worth a read. As usual if you don't get it within a few hours let Ablrate know and they will investigate.

Email update today describing some post-court decision work. Not sure what has to stay confidential so I'll leave out any more detail.
