Any plans to be mobile friendly. It's a pain having to go on a computer to view my ifisa Yep - when the new design is launched on the platform it will be mobile responsive. Regards Ablrate

No ablrateandy on the teamsheet - have I missed something? My understanding is that ablrateandy has moved on to work full time with the container SPV (O********** S******* Limited) and other things and now only only interacts with ABL on a consultancy basis.

Initial comments on the new landing page:
-The looping video background on the new front page is very distracting and a bit gimmicky - it gave me a headache watching it into the second loop (or maybe it was just sea sickness?). But seriously, I would consider changing to a static image. It is probably for good reason that I have yet to come across any other financial website that has a background video on its landing page (or any other page).
-It is not obvious that there is more information if you scroll down (viewing on a standard 1920x1080 monitor).
-Having all the information on a long scroll-able page makes it seem a bit unwieldy vs more usual tabulated page structures. I can't recall what was there before so I don't know if this is a change.

I can see no difference whatsoever apart from "platform" in the URL now. The front page is the same as I remember it and once logged in, everything looks the same?? I'm using Windows/xp-sp3/ SeaMonkey 2.40 A mystery. I've cleared the caches too and rebooted the bowser LW Look at www.ablrate.com/I had the login page bookmarked directly and saw no difference either........ Once logged in it's all 'as-was' <EDIT> crossed with ilmoro Thank you ilmoro and treeman. I've now found the front door but wish I hadn't lol. I'll keep my old book mark and come in the back-door as usual What ever this work cost, ablrate were robbed! LW

On a resized Chrome browser window the "Switch" accounts button and Account/log off selection disappear off the right hand side. The bottom scroll bar doesn't allow moving over to the right to find them. If you didn't know they were there you'd have no idea.
Also, it's so nice of the Homepage to keep my CPU busy. Another vote for removing the video.

Another vote for removing the video. They have said the main website will be replaced soon. I am hanging fire on worrying about issues on the current site until then. I agree about the video. Very annoying for all sorts of reasons. Fortunately for me I never see it as my bookmark goes straight to the login page.

I have found that it is working, its just very slow. Click to sort and leave it and about a minute later it will.

I will take a look at this.
We are pretty close to having the new UI so hopefully this will be sorted.

Yes, it has also been slow on IE. Not sure that I need a new UI, happy with the current one, but we shall see.

Hi
The new UI is intended to be more user friendly and intuitive. We are also working on cleaning up the financial statements section. That has been finished in design and now is on the hands of the developers to sort out.
You will also be pleased to know that we have uploaded some new code that will allow us, on selected loans, to have a period of time that bids cannot be made allowing a certain amount of time for lenders to read the docs. Any bids attempted during this time will see a notification explaining this and the time when bids will be accepted. We also have the capability to have bid limits following this waiting period for a further period of time. As you know, we are not fans of bid limits, simply because there is no evidence of any serious flipping going on, but we coded it anyway for smaller loans and where some loans maybe super popular.
The waiting period will be on all loans, the bid limits will be on selected loans.

It would appear on two recent loan bids that someone else has then bid at the same price level and gone ahead of me in the queue? Is this possible?

It may be someone who has amended an older bid of theirs to match yours and therefore is listed ahead of yours (because it was originally placed before yours) or it's a bug similar to that affecting offers, see here

I do not know whether the current UI is the new one or the old one, but it does not work on XP using Firefox. The white window to register comes up as very narrow and half hidden off the edge of the screen. I would like to register as a possible investor, but cannot do so.
