The p**l's plug has been pulled.
A bit annoying is the reason of lapsed planning, when the very first question in the Q&A was to ensure the PP was still valid.
Also in the Q&A is states some cashback for the delay on original bidders would be paid on drawdown or classed as not proceeding, so now the latter is met hopefully it will still get paid.

...and North wales is now within 44k of target. Coincidence? A whole chunk of further underwriting (& a bit of retail money) has certainly gone in there indeed. No coincidence at all

As a very recent toe-dipper at AC (and even more recent participant in this loan), I can only say that the uncovering of this flaw (however belated) and AC's robust response (basically, telling the borrower he can go sling his hook) only adds to my confidence in AC's procedures. But then I havn't suffered from the previous delays - I can understand that the feelings of those who have might be a little different!

Having discovered the developer had allowed planning to lapse doesn't fill one with confidence especially after all the previous delays. I'm with AC on telling him to "sling his hook".

I agree, it's clearly not acceptable to have another 8-10 week wait for planning to be sorted, followed by the next problem to come out of the woodwork, so pulling the plug makes sense. On the cashback: I'd like to know whether that is actually the case, because a similar promise (delay based compensation) was made on "High Wy****e" which was cancelled in February, and I've seen nothing paid on that, nor any acknowledgement on what the outcome was. The original loan details are very much gone, due to the loan being pulled. Maybe andrewholgate can confirm for that one and R*****h?
