Pity the poor folks who are buying parts on the SM right now. (I just saw one go by while I was writing this.) SS better get that red notice up in a hurry or they'll end up with a crowd of angry investors. Angry investors if they are lucky. Lawsuits and FCA complaints if they are unlucky. Maybe they are still hoping to pull a rabbit out of a hat

Perhaps we need to take a step back and not speculate. Lots of detail are missing so we cannot really jump to conclusions. savingstream can you please give some indication about this one.

This is insane - as soon as any PBL056 hits the SM, it's being bought like it's the hottest thing in town ?? Presumably most folks haven't got a clue about the borrower.
Hope this doesn't all end in tears for SS. I suppose if the loan hasn't actually officially defaulted (whatever that may mean exactly) then SS are not dutybound to do anything. But surely they should at the very least put out an email and also do a "recent update" on their site, if only out of sheer decency and/or some sort of moral obligation.

Do we have any reason to believe the asset security has been impaired? If not, the financial circumstances of the borrower are of relatively little concern, except for a possible delay while the asset is sold.

Also as someone mentioned earlier, the receivers have to "treat the borrower fairly", and who knows what that may mean in practice ? Furthermore, I assume that the receivers themselves will be paid ahead of lenders (is that correct ?) , and these guys charge big bucks

Maybe not defaulted as Lendy are covering the interest. Is this an old style loan where investors are lending to Lendy?

So.... they didn't see an exit plan with the garden centre... Both loans are on the old T&Cs, but it seems to me they are treating them both completely differently

Are the 5000 pigs (double over the past year ?) still on the farm, would these be seen as stock - like plants etc in the garden centre or have they all gone off to supermarkets.
