Just take care about flexibility. I once did what adrianc suggested and kicked myself a couple of days later when I wanted to sell some to fill a negative balance. I had fallen foul of the 7-day rule. Consolidating the parts made them a new purchase and I couldn't sell any of them. Whoops... The ban on trading loans younger than 7 days does make it harder to consolidate loan parts. I use two approaches to reduce the problem: a) I try to consolidate the new purchases within a day or two of purchase as they are already impacted by the 7 day ban anyway. b) When amalgamating older parts my rule is to leave behind 50% by value of parts older than 7 days. That way I can always sell 50% of any loan and after 14 days with no new purchases, the loan will have been amalgamated to just two parts.

A quick note It seems SS have indicated the wrong company in the overview; our borrower is 'S******** V******* MILL LIMITED' (where there is a charge in favour of SSSH) not 'S******** LIVING V******* MILL LIMITED' I did drop savingstream a quick message last month (30th) to ask them to change the details on the overview; they acknowledged it was incorrect as said they were going to change it... Still not changed Maybe they will see this post

Not sure if that makes the error more or less excusable

Anyone local to that part of the city know of any progress?
Nothing posted under updates on SS.
Had a quick Google around and all I could find were rather negative reviews for the NHS surgery on the ground floor.

Best to check planning portals for planning progress. Last time I checked no planning application had been submitted, maybe someone else found something. Progress next door is doing well(google v****** m***, for sale), so a viable project.

People hate my index - it never gets used MODs - could you please merge Done The planned exit route was to refinance the bridging loan into a new development facility once planning permission has been obtained. However, no PP has been submitted so my guess is that not much has happened on site since. Only 61 days, and no chance of PP going through the system in that time. Extension maybe? A couple of notes... > Same borrower as DFL008 (which rolled on from PBL093) & PBL059 and 072 (both repaid) > One of my favourite borrowers on SS (do some googling - looks like a decent guy) > savingstream are STILL indicating the wrong borrower on the overview page despite several e-mails and post on this forum (S******** Living V******* M*** Ltd)

Could the kind person who bought my £100 bit of Pbl142 at about 4.45pm today please check if they paid for it because I have not received anything to date.

Mystery deepens - Shown as fully funded - Nothing shown as available on Available Loans and as you say £649 in the queue.

What? Wait for a non existent queue to disappear especially as no one knows it's there because it is not on 'available loans'.
I know this money malarkey is complicated but even I know this is strange.
I have another £100 of the loan - Do you dare me to put it up for sale?

Thank you Mickj - It would appear that the same problem happened 3 weeks ago. I have just emailed them, told them I was not angry and hoped they would not tell me to sell up and go away. It's not the going away that's the problem - it's the selling up bit.
