If it keeps selling at this rate, I might actually want some What are you waiting for? Serious answer: The interest rate is fixed, so investing on SS is all about managing risk. One element of this is obviously investing in loans with good security. Another element is liquidity. Small loans tend to have better liquidity. Big loans, as we are currently seeing, sometimes have much less liquidity. Similarly longer loans have better liquidity and shorter loans have less liquidity. Take the two together and compare PBL126 (Derby house) with PBL136 (Bedfordshire fields). This is a long loan but it is very large. I figure liquidity may be low. But if the loan fills quickly then maybe demand is higher and liquidity will be better.

Liquidity is great atm, I bought some yesterday, might even buy it back later...

At this rate, at the end of today, there could be more farmland up for sale than PBL143... Didn't quite make it by the end of the day, but probably will be there before dawn. At the moment it's £457k for PBL143 vs. £447k for PBL136.
