How long are you planning on staking the place out to determine whether they live there, or just happen to be visiting, or just happen to be away for the evening/night/a holiday? Will you be interviewing neighbours and the postman? You forgot the milkman. Who has milk delivered these days?

Ooo..... 11 "new" posters with less than 30 total posts on the forum in this thread. Wonder how long it will take the SS acolytes to accuse them of being trolls like they did the new posters on 143? Out of interest, where was anyone in that discussion called a troll (or anything similar)? I've scanned the thread briefly and didn't spot it.

The closest I found is someone describing himself thus: "Brand new forum member, long term lurker," pg 10

[Mod hat on]
I didn't read that post as much more than expressing a tongue-in-cheek opinion that a few people might be over-reacting. However, if you think otherwise, I'd ask you (and others) to use the "Report Post" tool when you're concerned about a post or posts, rather than responding in kind. Descriptions such as "troll" and "acolyte" are likely to escalate emotional reactions, not reduce them. Thanks.

Hi all,
first post on on here by a lurker (no troll shouts pleas)
I have just set my pre funding on this to zero. Reason : look at the photos at the back of the valuation. The house looks occupied To me. Look at the kitchen and bathroom photos. Maybe the tenant did leave behind all their spices and kitchen goodies, maybe they did leave behind the soap dispenser in the bathroom, maybe they did a runner. Maybe, maybe.......
or the house is occupied.........
