Particularly mean BH out there - took, £90,995.00 leaving the hapless seller with 56p. - find it hard to believe they just happened to have just the £90,995.00 in the account. Someone else took 51p so only another 5p to be found

Something like about £50k was added to the sale queue between late last night and this morning as it was, so I doubt that's the end of it. (Edit: no sooner written, than it came to pass. Think it's time I started making money out of this crystal ball of mine......)

I guess that your guess was before somebody lobbed in a fiver short of 100K. One of those late Sunday night discussions.

The fiver short of 100k was probably down to limits on money transfers - one of my banks claims to allow FPS payments up to 99999 (and probably 99p for that matter), tho annoyingly anything over 10k has to be done over the phone. So I don't really blame whoever it was for not wanting to go to the hassle/expense of a chaps payment if they don't need to.

Are you sure p2p investment is really your thing

Possibly thinking that given savingstream monthly rounding payments that they will get a whole 1p each month for every 51p loan (1% of 51p equals .51p rounded to 1p). Simple mistake as given the actual formula for interest calculations (and my dodgy calculations) you would have to hold a 53p loan in a 31 day month and a 55p loan in a 30 day month to get a penny interest each month. Sure someone will check these and let me know if incorrect and would be interested in a comment from SS to see if this is an accurate representation, and if so how many people are holding multiple 55p loans and earning 21.8% net on these loans.

See someones finally decided to sweep up after today's messy purchasers who left hanging shrapnel all over the place. Almost did it myself but just tidied up my holdings after the last time
