Doesn't the loans page look pretty with so much green on it? Can we get a clean sweep, d'you think?
Has anybody ever seen it with over a million quid on the market before?

I'm sure it was well in excess of this amount about 3 months ago when the second tranche of PBL 33 was released (£2.5m) and PBL 35 had not yet been fully taken up.

I originally thought a day... Based on the time it took for pbl35 to clear down the various parts. I also considered that this loan wasn't over prefunded, so most people already have what they wanted. I rounded up though, as I thought SS suggested that we could have loans due tomorrow, which would throw up the market somewhat. That said, I expect that you are doubtless correct. I never try to argue with a lady. Especially when she is probably right. Spoilsport - it has occasionally been known for me to misjudge a situation, so we will see tomorrow how things lie with this one - a little rivalry to liven up proceedings So... After being accurate on the above... How about thinking about 58? Hmmm. Didn't fill at initial offering, got through a lot already but 630k+ to go... I'll go for Thursday. Thoughts?

Definitely Wednesday. I think. Problem is, I had the annual bath tonight and the crystal ball's got condensation on it so I can't see what it's telling me properly But it seems to be saying Wednesday. Or maybe it's the fine Cornish cider I had whilst still in the bath that's doing the talking? Guess we'll find out tomorrow

Almost back to where it started! Reckon Thurs at best, more likely Fri.

It is of limited value, but I have managed to pick up some secondary market loans, as a consequence of it and sold some pieces myself after posting on here. The sales are fairly quick though, so you have to be fast. But why would you look here to see if there was any? Quicker to look directly at the SS SM page, plus the time lag from the OP. I am only explaining to you my own experiences. Why was I looking at this forum one day, when my Saving Stream account was not open and I saw a message on here that announced that there were loan slices available? I don't know how that situation arose, but after logging in to Saving Stream, I was able to buy something. Believe it or not, that actually happened to me... So this thread has been useful to me. What more can I say or explain?

Although the last few weeks have seen SM parts hoovered up more or less instantly, over much of this year I regularly bagged useful SS holdings after spotting a tip-off on here.

My crystal ball can only accept liability for its pronouncements on the basis of information available at the time, although it should have seen it coming of course

Quite correct RR, I believe a crystal ball that can only see current events based on current information is technical refer to as 'a ball'

The SM is down to 12 green loans... Was at 20 at one point this morning. Could it be that we have reached the level of funding appetite for this platform?
I suspect that once the 4 loans which are due / overdue are paid, that should wipe out this outbreak of green. With another at 7 days left, SS is having a lot of turnover this month.
That said, without the benefit of a ball, crystal or otherwise, to consult for future status updates, I'm considering if my estimation of Thursday was optimistic. And I don't have either cider or condensation to blame.

People are probably receiving their credit card bills for their summer holidays this month!

SM seems to have hit a liquidity block, not alot down the bottom seems to be moving in the last 6hrs. Actually had to fund my BACS deficit by BACS - first time since PF introduced Looks like might need the half a dozen loans due at end of Sept to actual pay up to get Pebble 58 clear. Wonder if people are steering clear due to perceived planning uncertainty, perhaps SS need to provide an update on site highlighting that it was granted (AFAICT)

With 2x Hackney due at any time, it almost needs a break. That said, we complain when there is nothing to buy or its all going in seconds, so it's nice to be the other way around for a little while.

Certainly an epic fail for my crystal ball this time
