£10k in one spend I wish, but what your saying is there is flow if you are prepared to wait. I was a little surprised to see so many loans in negative but I guess that's a function of people grabbing things when they come up.

Does anyone think the upcoming Somerset loan might need cashback offer to shift or will it be the case that there's little else going on so it will be snapped up without CB?

As this will be the first loan under the new T&Cs i wonder how that will affect the underwriting. Also what's the loan for and repayment route ?

Likely to be under new T&C but until confirmed on site Im not making any assumptions.

My guess is the latter, but as my various previous predictions with ramblin rose show, my guesses aren't necessarily correct with regards to SS!

I'm sick of picking up £0.58 of a loan with -46 days to go on SS. Is SS even more rubbish than AC in terms of deal flow? I wouldn't have believed it was even possible... SS is great there has been a lot of deal flow recently just a dip currently if you check regularly then loan parts are available on average I am able to buy about £1000 per day and turn down much more, you just have to keep checking, although the last couple of days have been much slower than the beginning of the month.

In September they had a record month. In the last few days that has all been digested and the SM will likely be quiet until the next loans go live. That said, I can predict with almost 100% confidence that there will be a raft of 3 digit parts going up for sale tomorrow morning.

Hi Jonah
A heads up for what time would be a massive favour so I can make sure I'm logged on.
Thanks James

Is SS even more rubbish than AC in terms of deal flow? I wouldn't have believed it was even possible... In my experience (over 18 months on both) it's far superior, and unlike AC the majority of SS loans are very popular, fill relatively quickly and anything that comes up on the SM is snapped up in nano seconds! As others have said, you have just missed a loan and SM glut; but in general a good time to buy is when a new loan has just gone live, and a lot of SM parts on older loans tend to come up. Also pre-fund means you should at least get some of the new ones too. I used to think that a bit of patience sitting on the site would help newcomers diversify, but it is getting harder recently with so many lenders apparently doing the same thing.

I was as eager as you when I started and pickings were thin. Only a few months back. There was a lot of (very fast!) competition for anything that came up, gone in a flash. I now feel slightly silly to be honest. Just a little patience is all that's needed. There will be plenty and more than enough. Problem is I don't have any patience! ;-)

My appetite has been sated. Assuming you registered on SS starting early in the alphabet... Your welcome! If you are someone else, good to hear you got what you were looking for. I shifted 1/3rd of the parts in my sell list* for the week this morning, but with the particulars up for the next life an I'm guessing that the overall turnover on trades will likely increase in the next day or so when pbl64 goes live. I hope my next third flies away just as quickly tomorrow am before the next launch *its not a huge list compared to some people on SS but the prefunding allowed me to get slightly more invested than I'm fully comfortable with, hence the reduction.

I'm selling around £50-100 in most loans that aren't due or nearly due.
Nothing to do with the platform, just will probably need the money soon.
