Of the 10 loan updates posted so far, in which I have money lent, 9 read 'ongoing' and the 10th 'no change'. Half of these are 'unredeemed'. I really think FS could try a little harder to convince their lenders it is worth continuing on this platform. What do others think?

Better to emulate SS and say nothing rather than wasting our time to click on a page to read "ongoing". But where else can you get 13%. I'm staying with FS as well as SS.

Happy to be updated regularly even though no change. Certainly staying with them.

Still a little of the last tranche of the big 13% loan available on MT this morning, or you can have 16% on ABL if you're happy with the 2nd charge.

Getting the office junior to add comments to each overdue loan every week such as "Ongoing" "Discussion postponed" "Fingers crossed" "No change" "Praying" "Still hopeful" means that every troubled loan has a recent comment. It is exciting to open each one to see which comment has been selected his week, a bit like an advent calendar, and very comforting.

Good to see some rather more informative updates added to half a dozen other loans this morning. More of the same, please (we'd rather wait until Saturday morning but learn what's actually going on than get a long list of "Ongoing"s on a Friday afternoon).

Whilst 'ongoing' might be frustrating I am pleased to see a regular weekly update. I suspect FS would get at least as much flack if they didn't give any updates unless something had happened.

Agree - this mornings comments were much more meaningful. Wait until Saturday to read FS updates is a good strategy!

I suspect 2 different people are responsible for managing separate lists of "distressed" FS loans. I notice that many of the older updates on the loans that were branded "Ongoing" on Friday are also very brief, often "No change" or "Ongoing", whereas older updates on the 8 loans that were updated this morning always seem to run to at least a couple of lines of explanation.

I would prefer to read "Ongoing" rather than some made up BS,like,"It is anticipated" .Or "Solicitor expects" Or "Funds expected early next week".All these statements could, and usually do take forever. So stop leading us on with misguided comments and just say "Ongoing.

I disagree, the statements are probably copied from the promises lenders make and give useful information to consider re-investment. For example the "hampshire land" loan, I was surprised FS even accepted renewal.

... the statements are probably copied from the promises lenders make... zeverare: Is it fair to presume you meant to write 'borrowers'?
