Back in, should be ok until 2:45 and a 150k but I see no banner when I logout, clear cache and try again. Must be a firefox thing.

I seem to remember a large auction with good rates still available closing at 10.20am, I wonder what will happen to that if the website isn't back up by then? Well, I suppose they don't have to take the money at the inflated rate. Not long ago the website collapsed at the last few crucial minutes of an attractive loan. I was frustrated so I gave FC a call. Apart from the cold apology for not being able to bid I was assured they've worked hard to resolve the issue. I suggested that it would be fair if they re run the auction. I asked what would they say if it turns out they were "investors" who were somehow able to bid (those using bots may not be affected, well at least that's the only explanation how bids would be placed when no bids could have been placed normally or if I should go further - it could be bids placed from their system). I was assured that every lender is treated equally. I had the feeling the answer was designed to make me stop asking more questions and as if they do not understand what I am talking about. I bet they won't re run the auction you refer to.

I bet the website will crush 14.38. Will be back 14.44. Put bids for 9216 and you'll end up kicked out or with very low bids. What do you prefer? I'll take a walk to the park.

I assume this is 9241 a 'C' for £72k.
Finished with a small sum at 14%, and bidding was surprisingly slow at the end, probably not everyone had got back in.

We are aware of the issues with the website this morning and are working on them as a priority. Apologies for the inconvenience this causes.
Small banner at the top of their forum pages but only visible when I signed in. Obviously on the forum only as part of a new communications strategy. For manual bidders - the troublemakers - have this notice on the forum that few see and adjust 'this morning' to suit the case. For the main site and Autobidders, say nothing. For whole loan lenders - grovelling apologetic phone call and the promise of an Xmas hamper.

Also, a few minutes ago, the overnight repayments distribution process was still running - the old problem coming back?

GSV3MIaC I've been in and put a couple of highish bids in for this afternoon, just in case the auctions end early.

I've been logged on for 30 minutes now and it seems 'Live Updates' isn't currently working. Bids are only updated after a manual refresh of the page.

I've cleared everything in sight and it still won't let me login (or even show me the login page). Time to reboot the router, or move house (or change my IP address .. maybe FC have decided they don't like me?). Yep, turns out that was it, FC (or their servers) were blocking my IP address for some reason they have yet to explain to me (Yes, I was trying to get into the website every minute or so, but hardly Denial of Service attack speeds, and they mostly were even admitting to being there at the time). Symptom was a tracert to www.fundingcircle.com timing out at the last hop (normally it admits to being there on 89.234.20.150, this time is was dying at the prior stage 134.213.97.5) This plumbs new depths of 'not very goodness' 8<.

This is all contradicts what I was told in my latest contact with FC.
I emailed last week after my account total dropped by 3% for no apparent reason and as a result a lady phoned to confirm my suspicions that trapped bids were to blame. After I had berated her about trapped bids, use of bid bots and the general lousy performance of the website she attempted a PR exercise telling me how FC take feedback seriously but they are not aware of any serious shortcomings with the site blah, blah, blah at which point I ended the conversation by telling her that I have dealt with more bullsh*tters during my career than most people and not to patronise me. If FC really are living in an ivory tower as this suggests, I’m seriously concerned about the security of my money.

I haven't bothered with auctions for months, but yesterday I decided to join in one. I couldn't get any live bid info at all and got increasing Bad Gateway messages. It ended up a complete farce with me refreshing the screen every few seconds. Is the complete lack of live info widespread, or have I got a specific problem?
