Since about 11am actually. I would post the error logs, but the forum probably doesn't have enough storage. 8>.
We have timeouts, 404s, 500s and 502s, not counting the damn lies about bids (documentary evidence of it offering me the option to bid at rates which are already dropping out).
Either we have a lot of new arrivals, or someone has changed something for the worse.

Maybe they're doing something major, like trying to fix the reconciliation errors for everyone? However, as usual, they're not telling us what is going on, which would be worth many brownie points. Can't be the abacus sticking again, they did tell us they got a new bone (several times).

If we cannot see money coming out, I wonder if borrowers fail to see payments being made when the site fails like this?

I'm confident that the DDs were collected long ago, it's just the distribution from FC to lenders which is stalled.

I haven't seen much movement in parts up for sale either so wonder whether that's affected. JP

I sold three oldish B parts at par since yesterday pm, not much, but all my sale stuff is below MBR.

If this is unscheduled and unplanned then some poor IT bod will not be having a good weekend.
With the outage longer than a day the issues may be compounded by re-running processes designed to run daily.

One consequence is that available funds to reinvest are not increasing daily so there isn't the cash to buy on the SM. Even auto bid won't be buying unless lenders putting in new money. It also means that if it doesn't run tonight there will be a shortage of funds to chase down rates tomorrow so borrowers will get a higher rate.

The 1% cash-back deal has increased the numbers of parts on offer at par, and at fairly decent rates. Some of these are now at a discount. These are getting 'stuck' like the glut of property on the SM. Unexpectedly (to me at least) the volume of new loans is holding at a higher level which is also reducing liquidity - oh and we are approaching Christmas.

The last 1% offer was about 2 weeks before easter, which worked to throttle supply and restore a more manageable supply demand ratio. Are FC going to keep this offer in place till Christmas as that is the only natural break coming up? If so it's going to be expensive for FC + current borrowers, and anyone wishing to sell is in for an increasingly tough time.

You are assuming that FC consider a broken website is something they should bother with at the weekend - if they can't be bothered to send a holding email to lenders asking for our patience i doubt very much that they've got anyone working on it outside of office hours JP
