I've had no need to communicate with savingstream for many months (back when responses were rapid). However, I sent a simple question at the start of the week about the anticipated default status of PBL006, initially by PM to Paul64 and then, thinking the formal route more appropriate, direct via the SS website "Contact Us" link. Three days later, aside from the automated acknowledgement, I've heard nothing via either route. Even Funding Circle are better than that. A bit of an eye-opener.

Somebody else did get a rapid response recently to a question, on the subject of the identify of the borrower, asked on the Q&A tab on the G****b****gh loan.

I gave up sending questions and queries through a number of months ago because I rarely got a proper reply and even when I did actually get an answer it would be hastily written one line or two lines response that didn't often answer the question and you just give up after a while and realise they don't want to bother talking to minions like us.

I too sent an email about PBL006 and got a response a few days later although not very clear but the gist was that all loans including PBL006 would be subject to the new policy, although that was before the most recent update that says the borrower is going to pay all the interest up to date. My thoughts although I really like this loan was that discretion was the better part of valour and at the risk that this loan could be close to default (although I am sure with 100% recoveries) I dumped my position and there were plenty of takers.

Blimey - it's all happened early this morning !! Email received at 06:45 saying "please resolve negative balance". I usually pay early in the morning by 07:30 which you would think is acceptable , but apparently not . Nothing wrong with SS communications when they want our cash

The earliest deposit/withdrawal run I've seen them process has been 06:07 so always work to 06:00 for processing withdrawals (who cares about deposits given they give you 3-4 days before taking any action on negative balances).

Nice and early (before my bedtime) despite leaving no meteorological stone unturned. The calm before the storm as DD1 looms large on the horizon.

Reply now received (with apologies for the 10 day delay): "The borrower should be paying all outstanding interest to us shortly, and the remaining term figure will also be updated shortly" Slight shame is that I already gave up waiting and sold my remaining PBL006 holding

Reply now received (with apologies for the 10 day delay): "The borrower should be paying all outstanding interest to us shortly, and the remaining term figure will also be updated shortly" You may have noted the similarity with the update put on the loan a week earlier (on 17/Feb)... Then again, these are the same people who published an update on 23/Dec saying... Surely savingstream and Paul64 understand why we have trouble knowing how much of what they say we can believe. And hopefully they're working on solving that problem. Or am I suffering from another occurrence of extreme optimism?
