Looking back I think a previous post you made (of the 30+ you have made on the PBL155 thread) explains where the issue lies: There is absolutely no reason why "the returns should outweigh the losses by a good margin". Or that "it can't be right" that losses outweigh gains. Over a diversified portfolio of asset classes over a long enough time horizon, yes, you are unlikely to lose money. But on a portfolio of risky loans on a specific P2P platforms over one or two years? You could very easily lose money. Investment is a stochastic process and returns can be volatile. The probability density function is not positive definite, it has a left tail and that tail can be substantial. You seem to think you are entitled to a good return on your money. Moreover (based on a number of posts that were deleted by the mods), you also seem to think that because you are a large investor you need to be treated differently from smaller lenders. It might be time to wake up and smell the coffee. I am entitled to the truth and invest on that basis. It is not reasonable to be cheated and lied to, then make an investment based on that information. This is probably a hanging offence in some countries. I don`t smell coffee I smell impolite bodily functions.

How were Lendy and the FCA when you approached them in writing with your complaint peterpea ? Lendy went through the motions with nonsense explanations then went straight to the final response letter. The FCA do not respond to members of the public. The connected FOS have no ability to see right from wrong and do not seem to understand FCA rules. They simply refuse to see the obvious and hold their hands to their ears. You wouldn`t believe how childlike their response is. No matter how I take them through the process step by step they seem not to be interested. My case in blatantly obvious that Lendy is in the wrong but they do not want to take action. I did their job for them but they still can`t show common sense. It is the investigator that has failed me thus far, the next stage it the ombudsman themselves. But can`t see them going against their own ?? They are suggesting I take Lendy to court myself.

Taking Lendy to court is an option but costs preclude many investors from seeking legal redress. Finding counsel thay has the knowledge to advise accurately could also prove frustrating. If you find yourself mistakenly typing within the quote box, flip to the "BBCode" view tab, click at the end of the text and add a carriage return or two, then you can go back to the "Preview" tab and start typing. A fail-safe method when quoting a post is to first click anywhere in the Preview box and then CTRL-End (on Windows at least).
