It has ruined the view from that row of houses. Yes, but it has considerably enhanced the view of my bank balance!

Tranche 19 hits the pipeline this evening: Lendy Support - I'm guessing this is a cut'n'paste error from T18? Just a week ago, Lendy had over a £mill so lenders can continue paying themselves interest -- there can't be a requirement for more, surely!? I guess this is to cover the interest for the 4 month extension. In this case an approved extension via another tranche is cheaper than bonus interest on the whole loan, so makes sense. However, they could have factored that in to the last large tranche.

Excuse my ignorance but I've finally been sufficiently overcome by curiosity to look up the origins of the name H**********.
I probably can't say much here other than point readers to search on Wikipedia which has an interesting article.
The current development appears to be progressing well and I'm pleased to report that they're don't seem to be any active volcanoes in the vicinity.

H********** Dock was part of the Port of Liverpool in Liverpool, England. It was at the south end of the Liverpool dock system, on the River Mersey. To the north it was connected to Ha******on Dock.

I have no idea what other people think of this DFL, but looking at the progress that is being made on the building, I don't think anyone can have any doubts that this DFL will repay, maybe late, but will repay none the less.
Would be interested to hear other thoughts or reasons why this one could still fail etc.

Com'on skint4achange , aren't are few pix of a shiny glass building good enough for you? It has a GDV of £18m; it's too big to fail! [end sarcasm]According to Lendy, the last IMS report confirmed monies spent have been evidenced but that's not to say the project is on budget and everything is going as planned; we just don't know. I have no reason to believe it won't repay, but as a super large DFL the next few months may be its riskiest period. I agree with what you say that it could be behind budget etc, but this is why we depend on the expert/superior knowledge of the people at Lendy who we trust with our life savings!
I also agree that the next few months will be the riskiest period for this DFL, but I have to correct you on a small point! This DFL being so mahoosive will be the riskiest next few months for the platform, let alone the project.
P.s. I like shiny pics of a glass building! Makes me want to pull the plug on my mums life support so I can save on electric and invest more!!

It's good to see the progress. I'll see it in person next week... For me, I don't think of the next few months are the riskiest. I would have thought these projects have a risk curve which reduces closer to a completed security? Lendy's quoted loan to GDV is currently 58% Given the property is externally close to completion and with internals well underway (and in some places near to done, if not done), I'd have thought every step forward from here reduces risk? With 90 of the apartments already sold too? I know there is a 'will it repay on time' risk and as we don't see the IMS reports, some issues as to how the spend is going (or not - we have to take Lendy's word for that), but I'm not bothered as long as the asset can be realised for far more than our investment.
I guess others see it a bit differently? I'm actually more inclined to top up my investments as I see what I believe to be enough progress to ensure the project completes.

I agree with what you say that it could be behind budget etc, but this is why we depend on the expert/superior knowledge of the people at Lendy who we trust with our life savings! I have never trusted them with my life savings. They only ever had an amount that would have had no real impact on my life if they'd lost it. That amount has been reducing in line with my confidence in them.

Can’t wait for the 2nd charge loan! I will buy into that, especially if there is a nice cash back incentive!!
