2 months on from investment and more than 2 weeks on from hari reply post and still nothing, all relevant details have been sent via PM and email but nothing has been heard since. As they are not replying to the forum threads have Kuflink gone kaput? Is anyone else still waiting for joining bonus payments? They certainly haven'nt gone kaput. A new loan launched today and I got a referral payment today. I suspect you had a tracking issue, I had a chat with them on Livechat about tracking issues, and they told me most issues are caused by cookie issues (ad blockers / no-script type things I assume?), or signups started on one device then finished on another seemed to be the train of thought. I had no issue getting someone tracked manually via live chat last week after it didn't work automatically. I think it's important not to assume that because something didn't work for you specifically, this means a wider issue with Kuflink. I suspect they've decided not to engage in posting here, but are still easily contacted via their official channels.

I referred someone before 13th April, the friend and I got the £100 without issue. I also received the TCB cashback, it didn't get track initially but got paid quickly after submitted a ticket.

I fully agree puddleduck, however it would be less rude/contemptuous to pop up a post explaining that - they used this forum for free advertising for long enough, so a quick 'we have decided not to post any more - please feel free to contact us via...' would be more like cricket to me. I am shocked at one member of KL staff - they promised us answers & seemed genuine in all posts, then disappeared!

al the p2p companies i have joined started off really keen to participate on forums.maybe now the p2p platforms have their own forum hidden away somewhere that they can scratch their heads together. platforms have nearly all adopted the attitude that silence and cut and paste updates and we are unable to post for legal reasons seem to be part of the p2p handbook.

rocky1 I agree - for me forum participation kept me as a customer for the platforms that had it - a bit like the suggestion to call a company's CS line, not the sales line before deciding to buy! With KL I am lucky to have got off literally lightly (I had 4 figures reserved when they moved the goal posts & pulled that in protest - now less than £50 invested after welcome bonus & before interest). May still invest more, but with moving the goal posts and now bizarrely failing to define exactly where they are, it is much less likely. Annoying as KL looked like being my new preferred platform.

We at Kuflink have not gone "Kaput". in fact we have several new deals on our platform. We look forward to seeing you invest your money into these deals. There has been a delay in response due to Hari being pulled into numerous work streams and it was felt that myself, David, should pick up the threads in the future. I will endeavour to answer you queries in a turn around time of 48 hours.

Please do reconsider using us again, I am sure you will be rewarded.

Hello Rocky1, Kuflink welcomes feedback and positive criticism so we can judge what our customer are thinking and how we may improve our services to give a better experience going forward. There has been a lack of response due to Hari gaining more work streams and this has led to him not having the availability to respond as he wished to. I have been given this important piece of work to continuing our rapport and responsibilities to our customers. Should you have any questions please feel free to post them and I will do my best to answer them.

Hi. That person has now been assigned a heavy work load as is unable to continue to respond to this forum as he should. I have now replaced Hari and will endeavour to continue his good work. Please feel free to make your comments and I will get back to them as soon as I can.

That said, I think it is absolutely clear that Kuflink have not made this change in "a very transparent way". The change was announced on the 19th April, seemingly attempted to be "spun" as a positive change for investor protection, and since then there is still no information on your site about how the new model works, what it covers, how it covers it, when it will pay out etc. It is now eight weeks later and despite numerous people raising queries both directly through the website and on the thread here, there has been no update. There have been numerous queries raised in this thread and others about all of this, and it is very concerning to me that the change was made, and that there are loans on offer under the new system, when there is no explanation available of how the new system works. Had the initial change been a) honest about the reasons for the change and b) clear about exactly how it would work with lots of information available, then I think the response might have been far less negative.

Spot on carolus! davidjones, is asking annoyed (frankly disgusted) customers to restate clearly stated queries really the first impression you want to make?

Dear Investors,
I would like to apologise to you all for our lack of communication on here of late, and for any upset that our responses have caused.
We recognise that many of the important questions you have asked regarding our 20% guarantee have gone unanswered, and that this has understandably led to some frustration. Our overall aim is to build an investor community that has confidence not only in our opportunities but in our brand too, and our approach to explaining the recent changes was not good enough.
Going forward, we are committed to delivering clear communication that helps you to make informed decisions about how you invest your money. Our team continues to welcome your questions and comments, with the assurance that these will be dealt with promptly.
Please see below for further information regarding Kuflink’s 20% guarantee. I hope that this statement will answer some of your questions, but please feel free to get in touch with the team should you need anything further.
Kind regards,
Narinder Khattoare
Kuflink CEO
Kuflink’s 20% Guarantee
Since Kuflink launched our investment platform in August 2016, we have been committed to providing our investor community with higher yield, lower risk investments. One of the ways in which we maximised the security of our deals was by co-investing 20% in each Select-Invest opportunity, with this stake provided by our sister company Kuflink Bridging. We are the first and only UK P2P platform to use this model, and understand that it has helped us to gain trust and recognition from our investors.
As the platform has grown and deal volumes have increased, Kuflink found that this level of ‘skin in the game’ was resulting in a huge amount of capital being set aside. As such, in April this year, we decided to co-invest a reduced amount of 5% whilst continuing to guarantee 20% of each opportunity on a first-loss basis.
Our 20% guarantee is backed by £4.2 million in paid-up capital from Kuflink Group PLC. We based our 5% co-investment on the fact that our default rate for the 2017/18 financial year was 2.34%; by more than doubling this figure, we are confident that we will be able to retain our ‘0 investors losses’ achievement.
Going forward, Kuflink will review our default rate every quarter and adjust our stake accordingly, although we will not reduce the percentage even if the default rate drops. Our new guarantee will be fundamental in allowing us to improve our service to you as investors, from hiring new talent to developing innovative new products.

kuflink the first 1/3 of that was perfect, but then you lost me again; I feel it is exceptionally rude to ask customers who have taken their time, unpaid of course, to raise valid concerns, which clearly have not been answered & ask them to re-raise them. As for doubling the average default rate in relatively good times - somewhere between naive & negligent! How about you take the highest single loan default rate & halve it? As for previously asked questions, what if the KL group went bust - what would the 20% guarantee do then?

What is wrong with this company? Are they trying to do their best to persuade people not to invest? Had more contact with Collateral in the past couple of months.
