Crowdsetter comments could be amended now that we are in a new financial year, eg delete
no fees on accounts opens this financial? year.

I just want to double-check something. As I understand it, the following does not count as a new subscription for 18-19; is that right?
- I subscribe to a flexible IFISA in 17-18 with, say £10k - In May 18-19 I withdraw £5k from the IFISA - In June 18-19, I put the £5k back to the same IFISA
In other words, could I still subscribe / put money into a different IFISA in 18-19?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for any help. Yes, you can put money into a 18/19 IFISA in that situation - up to the full ISA allowance.

If I understand the table correctly, LW rates are incorrect. Should be 4.5/6.0%.

Welendus IFISA appears to now be available. Same as standard account, flexible and no fees for transfers in/out
Takes two clicks to set up if your an exisiting investor but need to add a NI number to your profile (via settings) before depositing/transfer. ISA transfer in form seems very simplistic but has to be printed & posted. Doesnt seem to be any obvious agreement to ISA declaration when signing up just T&Cs.
Both accounts run off same sign in, just flick between the two like LLI/AC. Cant see anyway to move money between standard & ISA accounts just direct deposit/withdrawal ( nsiam that is probably a feature worth adding)

Thanks ilmoro for the very good summary. For more information, follow the following link for Welendus ISA landing page for more details; www.welendus.com/isa.htmlWe will look into adding a feature to move funds between accounts. Thanks, Nadeem

If they allow transfers then they should allow transfers from any kind of ISA ... im not aware of any platform that only permits a specific type ... it's all the same cash wherever it comes from. Quick question for you. Do you know if transfers are allowed between any type of ISA? i.e. if I open an IFISA this year but wish to transfer that to a cash ISA or shares ISA at some point in the future, presumably that is allowed. Edit: Checked HMRC website and it seems the answer is yes. www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/transferring-your-isa

As you found out, the answer is yes, but if your planning on doing this watch out for transfer fees. Some IFISAs charge £100 to transfer out.
