Should be noted that REBS were one of the earliest platforms to apply, a full year before any of the big boys

Ok, so who has been around for a while, has a track record and offering the highest rates then?

Evening folks,
Sorry new to P2P - thoughts on opening an IFISA with M&Co? Presumably given I have yet to open one, I can open one with them and then just open another one in a months time with someone else?

Evening folks, Sorry new to P2P - thoughts on opening an IFISA with M&Co? Presumably given I have yet to open one, I can open one with them and then just open another one in a months time with someone else? If you're that new to p2p then my first piece of advice would be don't rush - it takes time to understand how platforms work and which suit you and you may regret jumping in too quickly. It does of course depend partly on how much you're actually intending to put in the ISA, but anything more than a small deposit then you should be cautious. If I were you I'd probably stick the allowance in a cash ISA for now while you use small amounts to try out a few different platforms. Then when you have more of an idea who really suits you, you can transfer the cash in to new ISAs with them (and that way you should also be able to open more than one). As for M&Co specifically I'm with samford71 - I have no interest in trying them at all right now (quite possibly never?) let alone with ISA cash

Money&Co have now added a blog post. Has to be the worst ISA launch ever as its about as clear as mud exactly what they are offering. Doesnt look like normal loans can be included as the post says
"What loans will be available for inclusion in the IFISA?
Money&Co. will shortly be offering a three-year fixed term loan secured on residential property in the UK with a net yield of around 7% after fees. We believe that loans with asset backing will be particularly attractive to ISA investors."
Still no sign of the promised FAQ.

Where did you get the 12% from, it looks like it's "up to 9%", on their own website. An example of two companies that were or will be included as given in the article on your link were at 6.4% and 9%. Were you factoring in tax savings somehow or trying to generate some excitement ?
