Is it just me, and my partner, or can anyone else see missing funds from the FC total? Ours is about £300, and crept up all thru yesterday. I assume it is failed bid money not returned. Usually this is very temporary, but this time it seems to be stuck.

Last 2 days the right amount of interest doesn't seem to have been credited to my account, only a fraction of what I would expect. Thought maybe the overnight processing hadn't run successfully, maybe due to it being a bank hol a couple of days ago. But that wouldn't explain why it didn't catch-up last night. I'll give it another day then start moaning.

I could have sworn I didn't have a failed £20 bid refunded to my account at the weekend, but thought that maybe I'd imagined it. Now I'm not so sure. I will check my statement tonight as it should show a record of the bid.

I have at least £40 missing, plus my account went down further overnight - perhaps fees were subtracted and interest not credited. It tends to sort itself eventually, although I recall one case not so long ago where it took weeks.

Similar problems here. I’ve emailed FC suggesting, that as they are now regulated by the FCA, they should do as banks do and make a goodwill payment when they c*ck up.
I find that banks usually pay up without much argument (6 separate payments totalling £300 for a catalogue of errors during a botched current account transfer to HBOS last year without questions for example) therefore as I see it, FC should be held to account in the same way under the new regime.

Yes, about £20 down. Yesterday morning bidding was appallingly dysfunctional again - I suspect this was when it went astray. I look forward to an email reply telling me how busy they are and why they have missed the 48 hr deadline.

I spotted an £80 loss on Monday night and sent FC an email yesterday - not heard back yet. It did seem to be very similar to last time, bids not being returned.

It may be coincidence but I notice that the discrepancy is within a few pence of the amount of cashback for loan 6215 shown as credited to my account under transactions for 27/05/2014.

I think it is coincidence. I only earned £1.20 cashback, but the discrepancy looks to be 1 bid of £20. I would suggest anyone who spots an error should raise with FC as a first step. If not resolved quickly it will be time to dig out the contact details for the regulator.

And, I forgot to mention, after I cancelled the transfer and kicked HBOS into touch, I received a further payment for the inconvenience I had suffered, therefore open season on FC for all the inconvenience they cause!

Thanks folks, not just us then. This raises the other question .. If FC have all these emails about it, how come they can't be bothered to put a note up on their site acknowledging the problem and estimating a fix?!

I'm in the same situation, £20 down. I had the same problem last week, sent an email, 3 days later got a response which said 'we're aware through a report we have internally, but it is a manual process to untrap the bids. This takes a lot of time due to the number of transactions in your account'. My response this week was to give the precise day when it occured - but I think that FC has got a real problem since they had the site downtime last Friday. As noted elsewhere, a lot of the loan bids seem to 'freeze' and not knock out failed bids. I took to copying the bids into Excel, summing them up to work out whether my bid was still live or a Zombie bid.
It really is terrible - this keeps on happening, has been discussed endlessly on here. I'm just wondering if FC is ever going to do anything about the underlying infrastructure - or as has been suggested, carry on with it just about working until they up and sell!

I don't think it's an issue of infrastructure. This looks like a coding/testing screw-up to me...

Using the formula Amount invested + Net earnings + accrued interest = Funding circle total, I could see I was exactly £40 down early this morning, but it has since re-appeared. It happens quite often, sometimes just refreshing the window brings it back, and sometimes it might take an hour or two. I never worry about it any more, though I did the first few times. I appreciate not everyone knows their Amount invested, but I only ever put in x000 so it is easy for me.
