Looks like this launch may have stalled, the three property target was just over £700k, and the total raised to date is just over £115k (excluding the 20% bonus).

No fees & 20% promo until all are funded, methinks. uown are you able to supply a cut-off date for disbanding & refunding? It doesn't need to be anytime soon of course, but I would like to be able to factor in a date, could be up to a year from now, even - but no more!. I'm still considering the situation during my 'cooling off' period... |

Hi Guys,
I like the idea of doing more promos to get the properties further along in the funding, we will certainly be doing more in the future.
From experience what have you seen work really well? I'm happy to discuss and see if we can up with something together that works really well.
Regarding the rate of funding, we are working on increasing volume all the time, we will continue to work until we are funded on these first three. We are also paying rent on all money invested, so anyone who has already invested will be earning rent right now as we speak, on 5th July we will be paying out rent for the month of June, for those who invested £1000 for example they will be getting paid out £4-£5.

I would suggest you get some skin in the game, and fund the remaining missing £.
If your investors could see the model working confidence would improve.
Would be a good selling point to say you take the first 20% (or 40%) of each house. But it would help to do more for the first few.

Hmm, not sure about that. Likely it would clog up the secondary market later on, and besides, a 'working model' is one that has a healthy investor base. IMO the properties/ uown need new investors, and not an artificial internal prop-up. To attract some new investors away from, say, the moose, you need a stealthy cat approach, and if that doesn't work, then a cunning wolf strategy. |

valuehunter, Thanks for that - never got that email. In last 10 days just had one "3 BIG reasons to use UOWN". Hopfully uown will notice you flagging them and work on their marketing
