I am sick the death of this loan. Got 4 figures tied up in this and the information and updates to come out of this have been scandelous. It defaulted within weeks of it going live. Something real bad stinks with this one. I just want my money back real quick now but somehow i think its going to be a while longer. Very very poor.

Yep, whilst it's nice getting fortnightly updates looking back through them there appears to be a definite lack of substance to the point where it reads as fiction. It's very disappointing as to how long it's taking to get this resolved.

Something real bad stinks with this one. Posts 7 and 9 on the first page of this thread should have given anyone serious cause for concern to anyone considering lending.

This loan is a disaster. It looks like a premeditated fraud of some description. There was no attempt made to even consider paying back any of the loan. The asset would seem to be worth much less than the valuation given. I’ve got 6k in this loan which makes it one of my smaller Lendy loans but I’ve budgetted for a 70% loss of capital.

Well if it is a 70% its bordering on theft. I suppose we still have years left to run on this one anyway before we receive capital. I could really kick myself and it makes me truly angry but there is nothing i can do. All my money is nearly out of this company anyway. Just waiting on this one.

I had just enough time to dump mine to some other poor souls (sorry).

For those who were Members on this Forum at the time there were plenty of warnings about this loan in the first dozen or so postings.

Yes your correct there was but that was only a few peoples opinion on the loan itself. If everybody followed a few peoples advice then a lot of these loans would not get filled and the platform would be doomed ( which it probably already is ) Remember 7.5 million got filled on this loan probably because of its 37% LTV. They surely cant all be wrong , can they?

The blatant red flags were there IMHO, such as the BVI for starters. The C****t is another such loan, albeit no BVI involved.
I understand your point thecleaner, all I am saying is this site obviously exists as sensible guidance (even if some is just opinion) to Investors and in this case, to me, the "guidance" was reasonably clear.
All aided and abetted of course by The VR Scam which really, REALLY does need sorting out by now. RICS Valuations should have a mandatory 90 Day Distressed Sale Valuation included, that would be fair then on everyone.
Although I imagine "Professional RICS Members" would manage to inflate even a 90 Day Valuation.

Rather than call the receivers on this one I think we should call the police. I’m not sure 70% loss will be correct but the losses will be significant. Well, at least we can be sure that the borrower is having a lovely time in BVI with our 7 1/2 million quid. There are some very easy ways to become a millionaire it seems. I’m not complaining, I agree that there were plenty of warnings posted here, but I read them after it was already too late for me. However, if it was so obvious to the senior members on here why did LY still post the loan, aiding and abetting these <redacted>.

I dont know about aiding and abetting them but the latter are certainly <redacted>. The savvy ones knew all along about this one and did post warnings up so fair play to them but unfortunatly for me i was swung by the LTV and it was at a time that people where just mopping up whatever came onto the market. I have 4K tied up in this and if we asume best case i get half my money back , then the thought of just handing over 2K to these <redacted> for absolutley nothing really does niggle me.
