I don't think it's anywhere near as straightforward as having paid all loans @12%.............
The statement I downloaded on Saturday (after interest, allocation and selling) contains 2 entries dated 31/3 paying me a few pence interest on parts I only bought 1/4. Start date showing as 1/4/17...........
As the statement is retro-constructed these entries obviously come before I even bought the parts.
Proper bendy fuggle up .................
(these are all erased on the latest download - it never happened, did it?)

No. The problem has not been corrected. It was just made more complicated. I never held any loan parts with less than 12% and yet my balance was reduced. This is criticism; constructive or not; but definitely not moaning. Well if I was in your shoes, i would be sending an email to Lendy, as I doubt anyone here is going to resolve the problem for you, and certainly not me. Already did as soon as I received their email.

We should have been allowed to keep the overpayment as a small token of gratitude as loyal customers. I think that's how MoneyThing have treated their miscalculations before.

Good to see Ly keep an eye on their investor community and reacting to concerns raised within it so quickly, especially on a Sunday night.
Fortunately I was in the position of retaining a significant positive balance waiting for Pickering to go live this weekend.

My small positive balance has turned into a -97p. I hope they don't expect me to sell loan parts or make a deposit to rectify THEIR mistake. I await their automated email

I await their automated email While in principle this clearly should never have happened and then, when it did, communication should have been pre- rather than post-fix so that people weren't surprised by it, isn't it easier just to deposit the 97p than be a **** about it...? I like this forum but it is so anti-Lendy it really is ridiculous at times.

...... the problem has been corrected and I promptly received an email telling me why there is now a negative balance on my account. I may be misunderstanding you but all I have received (3 accounts and 3 separate Email addresses) is the "Amendment to March's interest payments" Email, no notification that I now have 3 accounts with negative balances. Yes there is a logical link that if the amount of interest 'paid' has now dropped and you settled to zero balance following new loan drawdown(s) you will now be in negative territory but my business account did not partake in the drawdowns but bought on the aftermarket and previously was left with a slightly positive balance. This account now has a negative balance so the account statement shows secondary market purchases resulting in a negative balance .......... something that is of course not allowed following the recent changes. These negative balances are easily settled for those of us that have spotted them or made the logical connection from the Email but what about those less vigilant? For info I have cross checked the amended entries against the originals (all downloaded and archived) and the maths works out correctly with only below 12% loans changed.

Like people saying we should be compensated for the trauma of being mistakenly given extra money.

Only just seen my £2 negative balance and came straight on to the forum to see what's going on. I was all squared up yesterday afternoon. I only have, have ever had and probably will only ever have 12%ers on LfSS. Paul64 - I think this needs a fuller explanation. It's not about the money and I'm happy to sell a couple of pounds of something - I understand that mistakes happen, but I would like to understand how it came about to rebuild some confidence in the platform.

I have to smile at a lot of the posters on this thread. Getting their proverbial knickers in a twist over a genuine cock up, especially as most of the posters are complaining about a few quid here and there. "Oooooh my balance is now negative £3.12, How will I cope !!!!!!" First world problems - Ya can't beat 'em

I think duck ended up in triple trouble! I did but 3 small payments and changes to 3 spreadsheets later the 'problem' has gone away. Original and amended transactions preserved for 'future reference' (doubt if I will need them) so I'm sorted with next to no effort ..... off to my milling machine

These genuine cock ups are happening more and more. And i know what most people will say , if you dont like it then get out. Lets just say ive gone from 5 figures down to 4. When the genuine cock ups stop happening , i will have another look.

My balance has reduced and I have never invested in any sub 12% loans ! Sadly, the same with me... I couldn't understand it, when I saw it for this first this morning. So I sold a few pennies of one loan part and now my balance is now back to zero.
