On 7158, which has some way to go in two days, there is no need to worry because FC have underwritten this loan. I doubt that they will be happy to be called upon to fund the second of five loans. When FC are also replying to the tricky Q&A in place of the Borrower, it makes you wonder how they will handle the possible moral hazard.

I am finding it interesting to observe how 7248 and 7252 fill rates are moving in lockstep, even though one is a 1st tranche and the other is 2nd (in theory preventing autobid from placing funds there if already invested in 1st). Perhaps the autobid "one bid per business" rule is not all it seems... Sadly no time to download bidder lists & check properly (would not expect to see many of the same names in odd-size single bids if the rule were true). Come to think of it, 7158 is also at roughly the same fill %... and also a 2nd tranche.

I rather suspect, having given AutoBid a quick try when I first signed up (and survived, much wiser), that those people who had money autobidding when the 1st tranche was filling are sitting back and watching their pennies accumulate. Their AB pot is probably too empty to do anything, whilst those ABing now are probably noobs or have just topped up their fund. I suspect few would have had money in AB at the time both were filling. (and, fwiw, I never really saw the appeal of M&W - overexposure to the same-old-same-old tired Xmas Specials as a kid, I think)

Warn, you are an idiot. Think before you post. More coffee, less claret in future. Can't even plead clErical error.

Special measures to fill 7158. Number of loans right down to allow Autobid to help fill it, and a mention and link from the lending review email. It's going to be close. And this only the second loan of five.

And this only the second loan of five. Looks like they will get there this time, 33k to go. I wonder what will be needed for the remaining 1.6M though - 10% rate or 5% cashback?

7158 is going to the wire - just over 30mins to go and 5k left. I wonder which of FC directors will plug the gap?

It finished with about 15 mins to spare. Looks like the office staff switched off the site though to avoid being interrupted while celebrating.

It was crawling painfully towards the line, making almost imperceptible progress in £20 increments; I am sure that I saw the name of a sympathetic FC staffer attached to one note. And then, with two thousand to go and twenty minutes remaining of its two week ordeal, suddenly the eagles arrived and bore it up on wings of multiple £20 bids until it was safely over the line. Then it was dropped into the awaiting and accepting arms of the Borrower, precipitating the whooping, cheering and embracing of the team amassed in FC mission control. Now or soon to be appearing on a secondary market stall near you. We await part 3, 'A New Hope'.

Next E****g out (7348), the least bad option recently. AC appears much more attractive (especially once you take into account FC fees) for the property loans.

And yet another new one; 7349 : A+, 460K, 12 months interest-only, 8% + 2% cashback.

FC are getting very predictable. Run down normal loans to store up some demand then here comes another million of property. At the same time rates on non property loans are tumbling as un-invested cash chases them down. Looks like my FC funds will be going elsewhere for a while.
