I have tried other sites which allow premium and discounting on the SM and find it too complex to bother with and now no longer invest on those platforms. Its fairly simple really, don't invest cash in P2P if you think may needed it anything soon. I have a reasonable 5 figure amount invested here, but if the fixed price SM is lost then I will stop investing with Lendy. For me the beauty of investing with Lendy is its simplicity, and Paul64 I hope it remains that way.

Hi, it is an interesting idea, with merit. It will need some exploration however. I've started a Poll here to gauge views.

I'd prefer it if the ongoing issues with March's interest were resolved before looking at a more complicated system. Get the simple system working correctly first.

No. Same here LW. (I didn't check the 'my loans' area - I have so few these days!) Thanks New! I'd find this particular sort one of the most useful as I can get the "soon to expire" loans to rise to the top for possible disposal. SS used to be my place to buy and forget but with the new Lendy changes I'm gradually reducing my exposure. 6 figures down to 5 now but more to go for my comfort zone. I'd assume that the code required to sort columns would be pretty much identical for all views (provided there is some numeric data) so why is it not applied across all pages? LW

All columns on all tabs are sortable for me. (Except the 'valuation' column on the pipeline tab.) Admittedly, it wasn't always that way and is a recent change. Indeed, it seems to have been fixed in the last day or 2. Hoorah. Yes Fixed, if only you cold sort My Loans by "Remaining Time" Please Paul64

EDIT - Seems grahamg has also spotted this!

No, far from it! SM hasn't moved much by the way given £3.5m came in. Sure sign cash is being taken off the platform in now decent amounts. Worth mentioning as well, 12% in a distant dream considering how much time you could have money sat idle in loans awaiting sales. Not moved much? In the nine hours between 12:00 (when PBL140 repaid £3.5m) and 21:00 yesterday, the SM value reduced by £1.1m or 31%.
The total SM value (excluding DEFs) went from approximately £3.2m to £2.1m. This included a complete clean out of all 12% loans with 80 or more days remaining term.
The night owls, in the early hours, took the opportunity to sell off some more DFL003, DFL008 and others, adding around £200k to the market but that's mostly gone already.
My guess is that we will see more money reinvested today cleaning out DFLs 003 and 008 again and eating away even more of DFL004.
On May 1st there will be £1.49m of interest added to investors' accounts to add further liquidity. EDIT: Crossed with both jackpease and lendinglawyer .
I will be spending my interest. I do think as the SM starts to clear then a load more gets dumped!

I do think as the SM starts to clear then a load more gets dumped! You're absolutely right Liz .
When folks see the SM start to move, especially in loans they want out of, then the temptation to sell outweighs the temptation to keep and collect the interest.

Quite so and I have been doing that myself today. After selling a lot of what I have been trying to sell for a few weeks I decided to take advantage of the moment and list some loan parts that otherwise I would not have put up for sale for another couple of weeks.

To return to the original subject, I'm not actively leaving Lendy however I think that may be the inevitable outcome over the coming year. The volume of loans now hitting default status does little to give me confidence in Lendy's DD and I'm not interested in sub 10% loans with 70% LTVs. Currently all my Lendy holdings are 100+ days and I look to sell when they hit 100 to go. I've avoided being involved in any defaults to date but my Lendy investment has reduced by 25% over the past 6 weeks and I can't see that trend altering.

Yea, do all that, then lend to DP. Anybody capable of doing a google search would have known that DP is a life long con man and I reckon he's done it again.
