An odd thing for a modern business to do especially with an internet bent is to lose control of the contact with the customers. If I was a shareholder I would be worried, still they do like to make dramatic decisions with a refocus, very "break it and then make it work" sort of guys.
Welcome to the new guys, though I very much doubt you will gain any real merit from posting on here as compared to where you were posting. FC are steared from the bridge and the bridge doesn't read any customer stuff.

Hello, and welcome to all refugees, we look forward to your Friendly Conversations !
To any FC staff reading this, perhaps now is the time to put past disputes firmly behind us, and for you to join the roughly hundred other platform representatives who contribute to the forum, many regularly, some occaisonally, but all with the aim of promoting their platform to an important part of their customer base. Whilst I appreciate that our forum rule that requires all platform staff to be identified as such has caused you difficulties in the past, it is designed primarily to protect the integrity of the forum (and the p2p sector itself) from the shill marketeers, and the anonymous smearing of competitor platforms.

Thanks for the comments metoo. I was also amazed how much they would accept, while stubbornly refusing to make relatively simple changes which would have made the property loans simpler to manage. If they think that closing the forum will stop me continuing to ask them awkward questions, particularly about the Mel#### London loans shambles, they are wrong. I have migrated my Avatar across as a reminder to them that we Yorkshiremen can be as obstinate and stubborn as they are. Yorkshiremen, obstinate and stubborn. Never! J Boycott. Csse rest m'lud. Sir Geoffrey Boycott if you will please.

Frankly I'm amazed Forum Catastrophe have not made the decision to close their forum before now. The forum is accessed from their website, yet it comprises a litany of abuse and damning criticism (mostly justified) of the platform. What they lose in the opportunity for investor communication must be more than outweighed by saving the negative impact of this condemnation being accessible by punters and would-be punters via their site. The only surprise for me is that they direct people here!

I could say that this action merely confirms FC’s arrogance and disdain for lenders, throw a strop and threaten to withdraw all my money.
However, having achieved a return of 11.29% since 01/01/2017 I’m not leaving yet and feel that a more suitable riposte might be to tell FC to stick their forum where the sun don’t shine.

This forum's better than theirs anyway.

Er, do you have an interest to declare? Publishing, finance or other?

Can any of you more technically able people let me know whether it is possible to download and save a copy of a complete FC forum thread before the site is closed on Tuesday? I realise that I could cut and paste into a document, but the thread I am interested in is now 44 pages long. FC will send me copies of my posts, but not the whole thread, I asked.

You may just have to save each of the 44 pages individually as a complete web page. Should only take a few minutes. May even do it myself.

I know how to print as a PDF but I was hoping to get the whole thread into a single long document rather than having 44 individual PDF's

I was thinking of printing it on smaller paper and having it professionally bound as a book.

Well they join Prosper, Zopa, MYC4, Bondora, Smava & more which closed forums earlier.
Doesn't stop the discussion, just moves it off-site.
