Does anyone think this refinance is still going ahead.

Does anyone think this refinance is still going ahead. It's possibly still going ahead - I don't see why not. Over the years I have been involved in financing projects, and in some cases, it can take months, depending on the complexity and "let me think this one through carefully" attitude of one or both parties, not to mention the Solicitors can be really slow sometimes.

Agreed, these things take months especially if there is complications such as the deed of priority to be negotiated to swap the new lender above Lendy. They are notoriously difficult documents to draft so that both sides feel the wording is unambiguous.
Todays update suggests refinance is still a few weeks away, so realistically 2nd half of January at the earliest now.

An interesting land registry alert this morning, seems the property is being sold not refinanced by the existing borrower. Details including the prospective purchaser are on DD Central for those with access, along with some photos I took a couple of months ago

Does anyone think this refinance is still going ahead. It just did...
Full repayment just in, including all back interest and bonus interest.

Nice. 3.5 million back to Lenders. Let's see how much of it comes back in SM.

Happy Days R here again......Oh the fickleness of humanity I don't see it as being "fickle", I just think it's giving credit were credit is due. A full repayment of any loan which is overdue with interest and bonus interest is an achievement, regardless of all the problems that Lendy are facing at the moment.

It is interesting that after I posted yesterday that a sale not a refinance was underway, there were only 2 purchases of loan parts to take advantage of the accrued bonus (mine is the £307, which was all the cash I had in the account at the time; the other is for just £2), and probably around £500 of cancelled sales requests. The land registry details of the purchaser were clear enough that it was a UHNW cash purchaser.
Has trust in Lendy fallen so far that an investment that is 99% risk free is shunned ?

It must be the thought of platform failure, what else could account for it being shunned? Or maybe people have just had "enough" of L.

I considered it and DFL026 but then I got so annoyed at their appalling replies to a couple of queries that I didn't bother and pulled funds
The level of incompetence & contempt for lenders they have been showing recently via support has killed my little remaining tolerance. So this repayment will be leaving as well. Until I see some genuine improvements on Comms & altitude towards lenders I'm not interested in even gold plated loans.

Probably, but some of us just couldn't be &&&ed to transfer funds back to the platform to make a purchase, however good it looked.
