Hmmh !! '14/03/2019 Further to our last update, the Council met on Tuesday this week (12th), and they have confirmed that everything is in order with respect to the S106. The letter has been issued and is expected to be received within the week. Due to the delay of the Council’s meeting, this loan is now expected to repay next week. We will let lenders know as soon as the date has been set between solicitors.' Be good to get confirmation that this is completing this week please

The last update said amongst other things "We will let lenders know as soon as the date has been set between solicitors." No such info has appeared yet so I'm not banking on cash this week to be honest. LW

You would think a hitch would merit an update in itself though, wouldn't you?

I see the payment date has moved 1 day to tomorrow saturday but no fresh update to cover this.
If this were a LL loan then I'd say the can has just been kicked but I still have faith in MT as a decent set up so fingers crossed!

A one day extension to cover today could be seen as a good sign.
Who knows? It’s only just out of reach Down the block, on a beach Maybe tonight

Evening, Update added to this loan. Kind regards, Ed So the people who were committed to buying the property don't currently have the money to pay for it?

Feels VERY late in the day for the borrower to suddenly say "I don't have the money yet" but with a 1 million deposit, a solid asset and 15% interest for another 3 months - I'll take it.

There may not be much left, I can see the potential of a scramble to de-list from sale and to buy - not that I'll be participating either way, I finally sold out at the end of last year, and still haven't signed those t&cs.

Yes, they can. But it’s irrelevant since the proposed partial capital repayment would see the existing loan closed and a new loan listed for the balance (at the higher rate)

I would not be surprised to see a fair amount relisted regardless.
