big words in p2p. we have been assured and we have assurances and also we have had sight of this and that.when/if these bonds are issued for these projects won't they need to flog the things first before anything can be repaid.will there be enough interest in these bonds to raise the amounts required.are they assuming or have they been assured or will we be getting more assurances.this p2p carry on is joke. nah that was pretty hyperbolic... sale still planned to go ahead so we should probably all just give it 10-14 days at least before throwing a sh!tfit...

If it can be proven the solicitors told porkies, the Law Society. (IMO, you just can't beat the Russian's approach to trust: Доверяй, но проверяй -- 'Trust, but verify'.) SRA I suspect based on the name :-) Law Society is the professional body ie the trade union who represent solicitors. Well a source tells me that the SRA are concerned about solicitors identity theft and scams involving house deposits and payments. This is supported on thier website www.sra.org.uk/consumers/scam-alerts/scams-round-up/. That and the usual run of the mill misuse of clients accounts. A quick search of the SRA discipline findings will not show any cases of exaggerating transaction processes. www.sra.org.uk/consumers/solicitor-check/recent-decisions/A common finding is "rebuke". Does that mean they tell an errant lawyer they are ugly or have bad dress sense?

No. If you lost only a couple of percentage points off your Capital I'd say it was a very wise move and you can now sleep at night.
Just don't bung it back into any P2P.

And don’t gamble it on individual shares cwah Already did but why not? Not being rude, but you clearly don’t know what you are doing and even if you did most people underperform compared to just buying a tracker. No further comments on this thread as don’t want to derail it

Whilst not a fool-proof indicator, its worth noting that I am monitoring the title of this one for LR alerts, and there have been none thus far. Normally alerts are generated a small number of days before completion, or (very occaisonally) first thing on the day itself.
I'll be pleasantly surprised if this one completes today.
