Amazingly someone snapped up the wee bit I had on the second market last week on this one (who knows how long I had it up for!!). I was surprised to see funds sitting in my MT account! Basically means I have had all my initial capital returned that I invested the last couple of years, which makes me oddly happy.

Fairy tales or worse. I will be lucky if I can run from here with some of my invested money.

Fairy tales or worse. I will be lucky if I can run from here with some of my invested money. It's bank holiday! And just put it at 96-97% and you'll be able to run away from there with most of your ££

The bank Holiday was yesterday. Still awaiting today's feeble excuse.

If solicitors tell porkies, who do you trust?

If solicitors tell porkies, who do you trust? If it can be proven the solicitors told porkies, the Law Society. (IMO, you just can't beat the Russian's approach to trust: Доверяй, но проверяй -- 'Trust, but verify'.)

SRA I suspect based on the name :-) Law Society is the professional body ie the trade union who represent solicitors.

Oh well. This is destined to be the next MT default and remain a pile of rubble for years to come. Um what? Did I miss something?

nah that was pretty hyperbolic... sale still planned to go ahead so we should probably all just give it 10-14 days at least before throwing a sh!tfit...

This is all VERY wrong. I have just Messaged MT via their website:-
MoneyThing, will you be lodging a Formal Complaint with the SRA, and if not, why not?
Thank you.

big words in p2p. we have been assured and we have assurances and also we have had sight of this and that.when/if these bonds are issued for these projects won't they need to flog the things first before anything can be repaid.will there be enough interest in these bonds to raise the amounts required.are they assuming or have they been assured or will we be getting more assurances.this p2p carry on is joke.
