Personally I thats a positive update How is this any different from the stipulation to bring interest up to date to qualify for the last extension? Back then, if the conditions were complied with we would all have our interest up to date. Are we in that position now? While MT continue to lack the appetite to show they have teeth, this will never progress.

I’ll stand by my assertion that it’s a positive update (not that it’ll change your mind)... progress has been made on the end game part of the interest has been paid plan in place for the remainder yes the goalposts have changed ..but it happens in these matters...my trust remains in MT Now we wait until next month

Average guy, I hope you are right, and this time the borrowers promises to pay come true. I have a very vested interest in you being right.
I just think that if this situation, and the others MT are 'managing' as they wind down, works out favourably, it will be despite MT's feeble efforts and not because of them.
BTW thank you for explaining why you see current events as favourable. I thought the same thing the first time I read MT's 'conditions', the ones that expired early this week.
If anyone wants to be depressed go back through the updates and see the promises, the actions proposed and what has actually been achieved since interest stopped being paid. For that I most certainly blame MT.

I would be interested to know how much the borrower is selling it on for.
If there was always plenty of head room above the £2.5m borrowed, then surely Moneything has always been in a strong position to default it & sell at auction.
Lenders come first.
If the money is there, go for the borrowers jugular, especially after the way they have treated us lenders; if they lose money I will not lose any sleep over it.

Looks pretty positive to me
Clearly the borrower would rather not pay anything over. As long as we keep interest flowing in right now I am pretty happy Its one of my smaller balances I have left, but they all count.
My primary goal right now with MT is to come out neutral. A few loans will make or break that for me, The two Scottish ones (lodges and city centre), plus the pawn, flipper and Liverpool will pretty much get me to neutral. I can accept the losses on the other loans then, antiques and student housing mainly. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say, you will win some and lose some

Looks at a quick glance that interest has been paid at 14% and not the 17% current rate. Has anybody got a different view?

I think I hear the faint sound of the can being withdrawn from the cupboard and readied for its customary boot down the road called "No cash today, maybe tomorrow BB - and that's a story everybody knows"
