Wrong side of the bed this morning jonno ? I think you've been a member of this forum slightly longer than me, and quite how you've managed to avoid all the guff posted until now I don't know. You don't have to read it and you don't have to be insulting about it either. Obviously we're all anonymous and a pinch of salt is often handy, but I see nothing to lose from hearing the perspective from other part's of the P2P equation, even if it doesn't necessarily benefit our side. My sympathies have often been with people buying into these P2P development's off plan who have sometimes fared even worse than we have; however careful, we've all been taken for a ride and lost out to some rather unscrupulous characters in this game.
Thank you very much, Star Dust, for stepping in. However, at this stage, I think it would be wise of me to stop posting or replying on this forum. I thought that sharing my knowledge and my thoughts regarding this project could be beneficial to both of us (investors and lenders) however it seems the majority of the members of this forum don't feel it that way. I really hope (believe it or not) we are going to recoup our money, in a way or in another, because, in my view, we are all victims of a ***** so we all deserve to get our money back. Not sure the innocent victim role suits you, given you started with Your first postMaybe if you had simply stated your interest the conversation could have been beneficial, sadly you just seemed to have an agenda and stuck to it.

That first post does not look inconsistent with the OPs other posts on these threads. He stated an immediate interest, ie that he has invested in one of the flats years ago, which is good enough to consider an option. So the "agenda" (which few would present on a silver platter) might just be a consequence of MT/us delaying the case. Many of us are impatient, too. Whether the delaying is to the better or worse for us / or MT, I don't know.

It's consistently presented (whereas fakers tend to mutate their stories). Whether there are further undisclosed reasons or the surface is indeed fake is a matter of speculation. I don't see a reason to assume a hidden agenda here, but am sure one can invent various conspiracy theories.

Will be interesting how the borrower reacts to Moneything's administration.
Some borrowers take this to mean they can get away with their liabilities.
Will the current arrangement come to fruition I wonder.
If it doesn't, the borrower will no longer be able to be rely on forbearance.

I don't think that any of us expected an update on this loan on the 24th following the latest deadline (particularly now MT are in administration) but the end date of the loan has now been pushed to 31 January 2021.

I thing it is safe to assume that the payment on 24 December was not forthcoming as other payments due after that have started to flow again. Is the borrower taking a punt agains administration of the platform, or are we about to (finally) see some meaningful action on this loan

The last Interest payment was received on 30/10/20, was there any since then ? So, the 25% each mentioned for Nov / Dec are still pending ?

And of course, now that the platform is in administration, there is another excuse to hide behind for not updating lenders.

Yes, and I've noticed that a frequent poster on the MT threads advocating administration has gone very quiet.

No idea if that's a reference to moi, but I am still OK about MT going into Administration. PS - MT Administration was always gonna be very painful, but I would opine nowhere near as painful if MT had remained in the driving seat.

Come on now, surely I have to take the credit for being the one referred to.
